Haven't you ever heard
The sound of the river of woe?
Flowing with broken dreams,
Better than I could ever sow.
Haven't you ever seen
The journey of those in misery?
Waiting to be rescued
And flown away from this tragedy.
Haven't you ever felt
The agony of those in sorrow?
Leaning on your shoulders
Hoping to see a better tomorrow.
Haven't you ever smelt
Blood of people with a heart of gold?
Uncovering the mysteries of the past
As the present begins to unfold.
Haven't you ever tasted
The drops of oceanic tears?
Tell me why have you stopped
Looking for happiness that always appears?
