"Did you have your beauty sleep?" Alice asked.
Destinee nodded sleepily. She was brought to the Cullens' house together with Anni and Yana by Emmett, who picked them up one by one. Destinee was sitting in front of Alice's vanity and was being prepared with makeup and hair by Alice herself.
"Yana, get her a coffee please", Annie said.
"I don't need a coffee, but thanks", Destinee protested.
"You're like Bella. She didn't sleep much too and doesn't want a coffee."
"Don't compare them Alice", Rosalie meant with a sour tone when she came into the room.
"I'm sorry, but I would rather have Rosalie do my hair and makeup before I get compared with Bella more", Destinee said, "please Rose."
"Of course. You know I'm happy that you're in our life, but I really don't like that Edward chose Bella as a new family member."
"And you hate her lack of respect for mortality."
"Yeah..."
"Say, I saw the wall with the graduation caps many times, but I never asked. Are they really all yours? Doesn't it get boring to go to school over and over again?"
"Yes, they're all ours and some times it get's boring. But some times it's entertaining."
"I couldn't live through it. Really", I laughed.
"Some of us have the possibility to take a job instead of school like Carlisle. But we choose not to. I have no idea why."
"Excuse me?"
Everyone looked to the door where Renée stood.
"Hey, do you know where our daughter is?"
"Your daughter, one of two I have", Charlie stated from behind her.
"Oh, my gosh! You're so beautiful. I bet you will also look gorgeous on your wedding", Renée exclaimed.
Renée was hawking on how beautiful Destinee was looking with the little makeup that had been applied by Rosalie. Before she did, Alice had done it and in Rosalie's eyes that had been too much. So she made it new. Then she worked on the hair.
"Thank you Renée. Hey Dad", Destinee greeted.
"Hey little Boo."
"You're giving me nicknames too now? Oh. Wait you're wearing a tuxedo..."
"I know. I look hot."
That made everyone in the room laugh or just chuckle.
"Did you already see what Jake had in mind for you? You remember? The bet?"
"I did. I think it will look cute in some eyes but I see myself as embarrassing when I wear it."
"Shoo shoo, I have to prepare her. Bella is two rooms away", Rosalie informed them.
Destinee stood up and hugged Charlie and Renée. Rosalie guided her back to the chair in front of the vanity.
"No ruining my masterpiece", she said.
"She's right", Renée agreed.
"Okay now the final touches for the hair and then the dress."
"And while you continue we will get a look at Bella."
Charlie and Renée left the room in search for Bella. Rosalie continued to make Destinee's hair.
"I hope I get a dream wedding", the brunette mumbled.
"Of course you will", Rosalie assured, "Okay, the hair is finished, now time for the dress!"
