"All right. Switch. Left lead."

Buffy quickly switched her position before continuing to pound on her watcher while her cousins desperately tried to crawl towards the water in the corner of the room.

Both of them were in shock at how after 3 hours of training Buffy was still so energetic.

She wasn't even winded, it was completely insane.

While Buffy continued to send powerful punch after power punch at the pads, her mind slowly drifted off to the plan she and Giles had come to. She wasn't exactly jumping for joy over the idea of having to ask the Watcher's Council for help but they were completely out of options when it came to Glory.

They had drained every resource they had trying to find information about this woman on their own, yet they hadn't come up with anything.

They were at a loss.

Which left them having to turn to their worst-case scenario.

"You think they might be able to help us?"

At the question Giles merely shrugged, they had no way of knowing what the Council knew or if they would even be willing to help. But it wasn't like they had any other options "If you mean are they gonna help us find out something about Glory..." Pausing as he spotted Buffy's incoming hit, he quickly shook his head at her "I saw that coming. You're dropping your shoulder."

Elena who was still lying on the ground completely exhausted, lifted her head off the ground just enough so that she could see Giles "Whose they?"

"The Watchers' Council." Giles informed the Gilbert girl "They have resources at their disposal...the Central Library is just..."

Spotting that familiar dreamy look starting to form on Giles's face, Buffy halted in her movements and glared up at him.

If he started making that face it would never end.

"Don't talk about the books again. You get all...and sometimes there's drool."

At the mention of the Watcher's Council, Jeremy's head instantly shot up from the floor and he couldn't help but stare in disbelief. After his one encounter with the council, he wasn't a big fan, given that both he and Buffy had almost died because of them.

"Wait, Watchers' Council? Aren't those the toolbags that almost got me and Buffy killed on her 18th birthday?"

Freezing at Jeremy's words, Buffy spun around to face him confusing filling her face as she watched him.

In her new life, Kralik had taken Willow, or at least that was what she thought had happened.

Apparently, this was just another one of her many changed memories.

Feeling the familiar wave of tense pain filling her mind, Buffy couldn't help but groan as her hands quickly clutched her head, which felt like it was about to implode from the inside out.

"Not again." She groaned as she stumbled into Giles, just as it happened again.

Her life flashed before her eyes.

Her true life.

Buffy groaned as her body came flying out of the shoot, crashing right on top of a wooden table, causing it to shatter under her weight.

As she hit the floor with a thud she moaned in agony grasping her ribs which were now painfully aching.
