A very short happier one because most of the angsty one before this.

"But it's so farrr!" Lauren whines again, making you roll your eyes at her antics.

"We haven't even been walking for ten minute, Lo." You point out, and she pouts as she looks down at your watch (yes, yours. She grabbed your arm and moved it so she could see it) only to find out that you're right.

"It's been too long, though." She says for the millionth time, and with a groan but a playful smile you stop walking and turn to her. She does the same, brows furrowed in confusion.

"What are yo-" She begins, but you step forwards and wrap your arms just below her backside, causing her to yelp as you pull her off the ground.

"Put me down!" She calls out but you can hear her stifled laughter.

"You act like a child, you get treated like a child." You explain with a laugh of your own as you continue walking to the café with her hanging over your shoulder, gently hammering her fists into your back, "We're almost there now anyway so shut the hell up."
