Wine? Seriously?

Seventeen's POV

I entered the cafeteria with Ace and Nick, a smirk tattooed on my face. I looked at the leaders of White Demons and Grey Thorns.

I already knew what they were planning, I already told Nick and Ace too and they said that I could take this matter into my own hands.

I popped opened bottle of wine, downing it without bothering to pour it in a flute first, knowing I would be able to finish it by the end of the day.

I looked at White Demons and Grey Thorns before my gaze landed on Dark Hurricanes, my smirk had a crueler edge to it, if that were even possible. I felt a sense of satisfaction, knowing that the rules of the game were no longer being set by leader of White Demons and Grey Thorns, it was now set by me.

Ethan King's and my self proclaimed Brother looked at me with a questioning look as to why I would willingly look at them while Cameron flashed me a boyish grin.

A grin I had one become so used to many, many years ago.

I wasn't use to it now.

I looked at them, searching for any signs of them knowing what White Demons and Grey Thorns were planning.

Nothing, nothing at all.

Fools, not knowing what was coming their way.

I dug into my food, while Ace gave me a questioning look.

"You gonna tell them?" He asked, I shrugged, not answering his question. I took another swig of my bottle before placing it on the table, looking at Ethan King's table, their food was untouched. I returned to eating my food, not bothering them.

"You've got to tell them anytime now, Sev." Nick warned. To other gangs this might seem like a normal conversation between three people, but unfortunately it wasn't, "Look at your self proclaimed Brother."

He was taking a painfully, slow bite out of his pancake.

Fools.

I didn't want to tell them what was going to happen, though a part of my mind urged me to run to them and stop them from eating their food.

Alex Winstead swallowed and looked at me, sending me a smile that I had used to love.

A smile I had seen every morning he walked down the stairs and greeted me good morning, a smile I had seen when I got top of the class again or won an award.

I might never be able to see it again.

Cameron and Ethan were chatting, food untouched. Alex was the only one who had touched his.

I could decide their fate right now.

I wanted them dead, I wouldn't be the one who killed them even if they died, it wouldn't be my fault, their blood wouldn't be on my hands. If they were six feet under, I wouldn't have to worry about anything else but a small part of me begged me to save them

I could decide their fate right then and there, all I needed to do was say a word and their lives wouldn't be gone.

But I didn't want to do that,

"Sev," Nick said, a warning and a call, "I know you think that nothing in this world last forever but listen to this one thing I have to say."
