Adoption Day

  Ellie's POV
      Wake up you little rats! Ms melody yelled. That means it's adoption day. I don't really look forward to these days because every time I'll get adopted they will abuse me and send me back. What did I do wrong? I thought to myself. I got up and brushed my hair and teeth. I put my hair in a ponytail while I wore my best clothes. Or my only clothes. I walked down the stairs and see everyone all dressed fancy and I'm here in jeans and a polo. You can also see my ribs very well. The others pick on me for not being good enough so they would steal my food. I haven't eaten at all this week because I just gave up. There is no point in going down there just to get harmed physically and mentally. I was just sitting lost in my thoughts until I feel a sting across my cheek. You won't get adopted if your looking like that you hoe! Jessie yelled at me. She is 12 and won't leave me alone. We both hear the bell ring and she glares at me while taking a seat. Then 5 boys come in and ask for the ages 6-8 year old girls. I was so scared because Jessie was going to beat me because I'm in that age group. Oh boy
        Corbyns POV
             We were walking down the street when we passed the "Little Tikes" orphanage. We peeked in the window and saw something horrific. There was a little girl who was getting abused by a 12 year old. The 12 year old had a name tag on and it said Jessie. Why would you beat a little girl? We looked at each other and talked about adopting that child whom was getting harmed. She looked around 6-8 years old. So we walked in and asked the lady if we could adopt a little girl that was 6-8 years old. She called the girls and we saw the one who was getting beat. She was wearing a brown shirt with jeans. We all walked over to her and interviewed her.

E-Ellie
J- well I'm jack and this is Daniel, Jonah, Zach,and corbyn.
E-hello it's nice to meet you.

E-sure
Z-well we saw something and we wanted to know if your ok
C-we saw Jessie hurting you
E- I'm not allowed to tell or she would be really mad I'm sorry
D-it's ok but are you ok?
E- yes thank you for asking
D-no problem sweetie
She looked sad and scared but we got to know her more and we knew she was the one. We went to the lady and told her we wanted Ellie. She looked so surprised. She wanted to know who her dad would be and we decided on Jonah. We were about to get her when we heard screaming.
