Angels point of view I woke up I realized it was the first day of high school a new school I hope I make new friends besides my brother. I grabbed my glasses sometimes I can't see without them it depends on my eyes. I got up and got dressed in my school clothes. I went into the bathroom and did the things I had to do. I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my backpack and speed walked downstairs I was hungry. I walked downstairs "morning angel". Mom said. She had her back to me still I didn't know how she did it my footsteps are light. "Morning mom where's dad?". I asked her. "He's up stairs with will". She said. "Oh brother he's trying to lift those weights again". I said. "Hey don't be mean your brothers trying you still haven't got your powers either". She said. I groaned "don't remind me I'm trying they still won't come in". I said. I got the bread out and the butter. "Don't worry honey they'll come in don't worry". She said. I sighed "I know". I said. I put the bread in the toaster "Theirs my little girl getting ready for her big day". I heard dad behind me. I turned around and smiled at him "good morning dad". I said. He picked me up and hugged me I giggled the best things about having parents as superhero's is they can do that. He then set me down "so you ready for your big day?". He said. "You know I am". I said. I then heard the ding of the toaster I turned around and got a plate and got the toast from the toaster. I spread butter on my toast then I got jam from the refrigerator and spread that on to. I heard the door open "good morning mr. and mrs. Stronghold, hey angel". Layla aka my best friend said. "Layla". I said happily. "Mornin". Mom and dad said. I sat down at the table eating here it comes "I noticed that you had recycles in your trash I took the liberty of moving them for you". Layla said. And their it was. Layla sat down on the other side of me. "Thank you Layla you hungry?". Mom asked her. Mom put a plate down in front of her "I got plenty of eggs, bacon". Mom said. "No thanks you know how my mom can communicate with animals apparently they don't like being eaten". Layla said. I sniffled a laugh but made out to be a cough "be careful dear don't need to eat so fast". Dad said. He winked at me knowing what I really did. I love my dad he's the best I think I have the bound with our parents then will did. "How about some juice?". Mom asked her. "Great". Layla said. Mom went to the refrigerator to get the juice. "I can't believe you girls and will are starting high school seems like yesterday you two were swimming in the kiddie pool". Mom said. I groaned "mom not now I'm eating". I said. Dad laughed while mom giggled seriously they can be weird some times. Then will came in I guess he heard her "mom! Hi, Layla". Will said he sat next to her. Mom put her Juice down in front of Layla "thank you". Layla said. I heard their phone ring mom answered it but dad put up the other phone "Josie its...the other one". Dad said. Their superhero job is calling. Dad put the phone to his ear "go". He said. The person was talking on the phone. "I see thank you mayor." Dad said into the phone. "theirs trouble downtown". Dad said to mom. "Big trouble down town". Dad said. "Oh shoot and I really wanted to see will and angel off to the bus". Mom said. "I remember wills first day of preschool he wouldn't let go of my leg and angel had the same trouble to hanging onto her fathers leg as tight as she could". Mom said. I blushed "mom!". Me and will said. "Oh". Mom said. Mom kissed wills cheek "Josie". Dad said. She then leaned over and kissed mine. Dad came over and kissed my head "have a great day at schools kiddo". He said. "Thanks dad". I said. "Will angel a reminder a lot of kids at sky high will have only one superhero parent not two so take it easy on them okay no showing off". Dad said. "Aw Dad not to worry I'll keep it low key". Will said. I snorted "I'll make sure of that". I said. Dad winked at me "Thanks princess". He said. He went with mom to change and go down their superhero pole. I finished my toast while will and Layla talked. They would so be a cute couple but their so obvious. Will put the tv on the news was on they talked about a robot taking over but it showed mom and dad fighting the robot it still amazed me at their age they can still fight this good. Dad punched the robot with one punch and it destroyed the robot that was awesome. I checked the time it was almost time I got up and out the plate in the sink and got my backpack we walked outside. We started to walk to where the bus would be Layla went on about graduating and saving mankind and animal kind and every kind Their was. Soon the bus came. The doors opened "morning". The bus driver said. We climbed up the stairs "Morin is this the bus to sky high?". Will asked the bus driver. "Shh what are you crazy?". The bus driver said. He closed the doors "do you want every super villain in the neighborhood to know we're here?". The bus driver asked will. "No no sorry". Will said. We went to go sit down but the driver put his hand up stopping us from walking "What's your names freshmen's?". He asked us. Will looked nervous "will stronghold". He said. "Angel stronghold". I said. The driver gulped Okay what's wrong with him? "The son and daughter of the commander and jetstream?". He asked nervously. I guess he knew our parents. We smiled at him. He got up "everyone it's will and angel stronghold son and daughter of the commander and jetstream!". The driver said. So good for keeping it low key. He got close "I'm Ron Wilson sky high bus driver if I can make your journey more comfortable let me know, you three! Up the seat behind Ron Wilson belongs to To will and angel stronghold". He said to the kids in front. "It would be an honor". The kid with glasses said. "It's fine you don't have to". I said softly. I get my soft voice from my mother. "No I want to you two are the next generation man magenta get up". He said to the girl next to him. "Why they only need two seats". The girl said. "So he can sit with his girlfriend". The boy with the glasses said. I saw Layla and will blush a little haha knew it they like each other. "Layla no she's just my friend". Will said. Oh dear brother you need help. "Yeah totally hes like my brother". Layla said. I raised an eyebrow I know she's him more then that. "Oh well in that case hi I'm Larry". Another kid with glasses appeared behind us. He took his glasses off and winked at her I sniffled a laugh this was to funny. It got awkward so we moved in the back this kid with blonde hair got up and did a handshake with will "yo will hey how you doin hey angel Layla". He said. we sat down next to him i sat on the edge "how was your summer?". will asked the guy. "To be honest it was tough man T-U-P-H I was seriously sweating it my dad going "Zach I powered up before I started shaving" and here's me man halfway through August and zip". The Zach guy said. "Oh so you...you don't have your powers". Will said. "You think I'd even show up today if it happened?". Zach said. "No". Will said. "No no woke up a few days ago and bam!". Zach said clapping his hands together. "That's great so what-what is it?". Will asked him. "You have to wait and see like everybody else but it's awesome man it's awesome". Zach said. Will turned around to look at something I guess he was a little shy since he didn't have his powers yet but neither did I were later bloomers. "Come on it's not like you ever powered in front of us". Zach said. Then their was a sudden stop that pushed me forward hitting my head on the seat. I rubbed my head but I got a hard head so Their wasn't any damage. "Sorry!". The driver said. He opened the doors and let the kid in "morning". He said. He closed the doors "that's everyone". He said. He switched hats but what for exactly? He turned to look at us "next stop sky high!". He said. He turned back around and started to drive again. He made sharp turns I saw that he's going through orange cones. Then it looked like we were on a one way high way they looked like it was blocked off. Layla looked around "where are we?". She asked. I shrugged my shoulders don't ask me. Then seat belts circled around us and handle bars came from the seat in front of us like a roller coaster. Some kids yelped in surprise. "hang on back their! We're going off road". The driver said. My eyes got wide what does he mean off road?! "Here we go!". He said. "yeehoo!". He yelled. Everyone started to scream but I got the concept it's like a roller coaster this is the way to sky high I loved roller coasters. I put my hands up and yelled in excitement. We were falling but then we stopped and flew oh man this was awesome. Everyone still screamed but I was having the time of my life if that means that we're going to Have to do this every morning I'm going to love it here! All we saw was clouds but I saw something behind the clouds "there she is sky high". The driver said. Wow it looked amazing it was a school literally floating in the sky that's probably why they call it sky high. "Kept aloft by the latest in antigravitation propulsion she is the constant Motion as a precaution against those who might have nefarious plans her location supplied only to few highly qualified individuals such as myself Ron Wilson bus driver". The driver said explaining things. We soon landed I knew I was going to love it here.
