Bria's POV
I saw James walk forward to hug his uncle.
"Look at how you've grown son"
"I know, much taller than you now"
James then looked around at me and smiled
"Uh-oh I almost forgot, this is my Bride Bria, the girl I told you about"
"The brunette or the blonde one?" I heard a young handsome man say
"Bria's the only one I mentioned Fredrico" James said gritting his teeth at the man
"Oh I know, just messing with you." he said
He then turned around to me with a small smirk on his lips.
"Sembrando un dessert caldo mamacita, mi piacerebbe mangiartihe" he said in another language
One I didn't understand
I scrunched up my face in confusion
"I'm Frederico, James' cousin" he said laughing
"I apologize for my son" James' uncle said noticing my uncomfortableness
"It's fine, she likes me" Frederico said
"So, in order for you guys to be at James' and I wedding, you have to barge in and scare me half to death?" I asked hastily
"Well-" James' uncle started before I cut him off
"Wait, is this how you guys greet each other, like a family tradition?"
They all looked at me for a while and then burst out laughing
I don't find this funny at all
"We're so sorry Bria, our sincerest apologies. That was not our intention at all"
"So you couldn't have come without the guns, men and weapon, it's a wedding and you almost gave everyone a heart attack including me"
"Sassy I like it" Frederico said licking his lips
-1 hour later-
The reception had begun and James and I were now slow dancing
"Time for toasts" James' uncle said tapping his glass.
"I'd like to go first" Frederico shouted
"Sure son"
"Ahem, I would like to say congratulations to my brother in crime, my partner James" he said with a sickly fake smile
"James and I go waayyy back, so far back but I don't think he remembers that oath we had" he smirked
"What oath is he talking about?" I whispered asking James
"Your wife is mine!" Frederico shouted smirking

Phew! It's surely been a while
So Frederico is James' cousin, if you guys are confused, it's obvious they were close when they were younger but they had an oath. What's that about?
