Dennise had always wondered about the tenant at apartment 28 because in all of her stay at her apartment complex, she had never, even once, seen anyone go in or out of that room. Speculations about the person (or people) living in that room had ranged from an old lady with a hundred cats, to serial killer, to a ghost and she thought that having such person (or people) in their nice apartment building was quite farfetched. Also, she didn't think that Ella their landlady, would allow such character to live in the area.
Frankly she didn't care about it, but the thought of having a mass murderer or a rapist living in the room in front of hers had given her an unsettling feeling. And so that one morning, when the doorknob of Apartment 27 twisted ever so slowly, Dennise who had just got home from a sleepover at her best friend's place, hurriedly jammed her keys in the lock and went inside her apartment before slamming her poor door almost out of its hinges.
She found herself panting and breathing really hard from anticipation, her heart beating so fast like she was running a marathon. Mahigpit ang hawak nya sa kanyang bag nya as she watched from her peephole, trying not to make a sound as much as possible.
Dennise gulped as the door opened painfully slow, she felt all the hairs on her body stand up on end. She didn't know who or what to expect.
Her breath got caught in her throat when someone walked out and nothing would have ever prepared Dennise for anything like this.
There she saw a tall tanned girl, opened the door before bending down to retrieve the morning paper, mukhang kakagising pa nga lang. Pinanood nya 'to bumalik sa kanyang room na parang walang nangyari.
Dennise blinked her eyes rapidly before wiping them, making sure that everything had happened really did happen.
Sinong mag aakala na ang nakatira pala sa Apartment 28 ay isang magandang babae with a tanned skin standing 5'10, ang tantya ni Dennise. Said girl have very interesting tattoo too - a tree - that ran from her left shoulder blade down to her lower back. Malalaman ni Dennise dahil she just saw her naked body just a moment ago.
"Wh-What the heck was that?"
Atleast nothing from the speculations were true.

Hindi makatulog si Dennise nung gabi na iyon.
Kung ano ano ng ginawa nya, uminom ng gatas, magbilang ng tupa pero lahat ng 'yon ay hindi tumalab, kaya ngayon sinisisi nya ang babae kanina sa Apartment 28.
Oh and her huge ass tattoo too.
Hindi nya na nakayanan so, she got off from her bed and decided na pumunta nalang sa 24-hr convenience store na malapit lang sa apartment nya. Few cans of beer doesn't hurt right?
Slowly but carefully, binuksan nya ang kanyang pintuan. Hinihiling nya na sana hindi nya maka encounter ang dahilan ng kanyang problema ngayon.
Hindi nya alam kung pinaglalaruan ba sya ng panahon ngayong gabi pero nadatnan nyang sarado ang store dahil nirerenovate ito.
