"I got 'em." I waved the keys at her.
"Do you have—"
"It's in my bag." I smiled at her antics.
"I'm sorry." She sighed and straightened my tie. "I just want you to have a great first day at school."
"Dear, you make me sound like I'm a student and not the professor." I chuckled. She smacked my arm and handed me a lunch box. I peaked inside.
"Dear, is that a juice box?" I laughed.
"Shut up." She smiled and gave me a quick kiss on my cheek. "Now hurry! We don't want you to be late for your first day."
