Anna

I started walking inside with Ashton, knowing exactly what his intentions were. i can't say I wasn't excited though, recently I've been having thoughts about Ashton and I but I didn't want to ruin what we had going.

"so what'd you want to talk about ash?" I acted, giving him a wink.

just as we were about to head upstairs the front door opened revealing Niall and Liam and more boxes of pizza than I could count. I took a box and walked away yelling "no one touch my box" and I could hear Niall from behind me say "I think I just saw my future wife"

I sat down on a barstool in the kitchen and started eating my pizza. Ashton Niall and Liam walked in and gave me a quick introduction before we all headed outside to join the others. not long after we were all a bit drunk and decided to play a game of truth or dare. when it was ashton's turn to ask me, I said dare.

"I dare you to go on a date with me"

he said a bit nervously

"cheesy but ok" I giggled. Michael had a look of pure entertainment on his face and Calum looked beyond confused.

I decided to stay the night since everyone was a little too drunk to drive home and I just crashed with Ashton. it was around 1am that I woke up and went downstairs for some water only to find the one and only Luke Hemmings sitting at the counter eating a bag of chips

"well hey there!" I said surprised

"hey what are you doing here?" he said thrown off guard

"no one was really suitable to drive me home so I'm just sleeping in Ashton's room" I explained

"I can't take you home" he said nervously "I mean I'm sure you'd rather sleep in your own bed than with Ashton i don't know I would" he rambled on

"no.. it's fine" I assured him before going back upstairs

Ashton took me home in the morning and Luke insisted in coming along. he pulled up and I grabbed my purse and opened the door.

"I'll see you tonight, yeah?" I spoke through the open window

"yeah I'll see you around 7?" he asked

"sounds good can't wait, bye guys" I smiled and made my way inside.

Luke

"what was that about" I asked when we got back home, trying to sound nonchalant but really I was panicking. no way in hell would Ashton and Anna be good together, this can't be happening.

"I'm taking Anna out tonight, I'm really excited actually I think I might lik-"

"NO" I cut him off. I can not hear this "you do not like Anna Williams."

"dude calm down.." he said uneasily

"she's my best friend Ashton, I'm not just gonna let you walk all over her" I was pissed now

"me?" he asked, amused. "you've got to be kidding me right now. you barely even gave her the time of day at the airport and now all of a sudden when I want to take her out you get all jealous. are you blind Luke, that girls been like in love with you for so long and you lost your chance so don't even start with me right now" He ranted

I was shocked to say the least,I mean I had no idea Anna felt that way. Ashton was right, I was too late. but it doesn't matter I have lily and she's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. I just don't want to lose my best friend.

"just stay away Ashton" I yelled, not meaning too, as we walked inside.

"no, I won't. and I'll tell her you said hi when I pick her up for our date tonight" he yelled back, walking up the stairs.

"what's going on" lily asked when she walked in

"can you just leave me alone for a minute" I snapped

"wow yeah cool off, I'll see you later" and with that she was out the door and now I'm thinking I just lost two very important girls
