Ever since the fifties, Alfred carried a gun in his jacket... just in case. He thinks the world is out to get him.
Alfred uses his hands a lot when he speaks. However, he's also proficient in ASL, so he'll unconsciously make hand gestures that mimic what he's saying. At one point he decided to start sending secret messages to see who was paying attention. Only Mattie caught on and was highly amused by what his brother was signing as he spoke.
Alfred is completely capable of driving on the left side like they do in England. He likes to pretend he can't to annoy Arthur.
Alfred is jealous of his brother. He's quiet, loved and no one expects anything from him... Alfred would give anything for that invisibility.
