Finley woke up feeling like crap. She immediately felt around her wondering where she was. She sighed a deep breath of relief when she felt Sweet Pea's duvet. She always seemed to be here every morning and she was surprised Alice Cooper hadn't talked to her about it. Sweet Pea then came into the room and he didn't look happy. "Finley listen", he said sitting down next to me on the bed. Finley looked at him nervously and to reassure her he grabbed her hand. "Will you please promise me to not touch jingle jangle again", he asked? Finley sighed rubbing her forehead because of the sudden headache she got. "I don't know what I was thinking Sweets, drugs aren't something I ever saw myself doing, I feel horrible", she said honestly. She made a stupid decision just because Archie said she was. "It's a Ghoulie drug and they aren't to be trusted", Sweet Pea said. Finley then laid her head again his chest as he wrapped his arms around her. Her phone then went off. She released herself from Sweet Pea. The text was from Betty.
When you get to school meet me at the Blue and Gold.
"Who is it", Sweet Pea asked? Finley got up. "Betty, she needs to see me", she said looking around for any source of clothing. "I have to talk to this Betty, she seems to be taking you away from me, is there something your hiding from me", Sweet Pea asked? Finley thought about how she knew all about the black hood threatening her friend Betty. Most likely if the black hood found out Archie and Finley knew he'd go after them but she didn't want to tell Sweet Pea that. "Nothing at all, just some newspaper stuff she needs help with since Jughead doesn't go to school there anymore", she lied. Sweet Pea got up from the bed grabbing one of his t shirts and flannel and throwing it toward her. She caught it. "I'm keeping the jacket today even though you looked amazing in it", he smirked. Finley blushed and she knew she'd fallen for this boy hard.

Finley followed Archie into the Blue and Gold where they saw Betty in a horrible state. "What the hell was that last night", Archie asked? "I lied to you guys, when you asked me if the black hood called again he did", Betty said as the room went dead silent. She let out a sad sigh and Finley's heart broke at the sight of her. "Then he told me to cut Veronica out of my life and also you Finley but you know about this, and now he wants to do the same with Jug", Betty said her heart breaking also. "Betty why didn't you tell us", Archie asked? Finley nodded agreeing with Archie. "Because I knew you'd try to talk me out of it", Betty said. "Your right, it's my mistake", Archie said moving past Finley as he got out his phone. Betty quickly got up. "Archie put the phone down", Betty commanded. "Listen to me both of you", she started her gaze going to us intensely. "He hasn't attacked or killed anyone since we started talking, I think this is distracting him", Betty said. "Betty he's torturing you, making you hurt your mom, Veronica and supposedly Finley, and now Jughead", Archie said. Finley stepped forward. "How were you going to put him and yourself though that B", Finley asked? She wiped away the tears. "I was hoping maybe you and Finley would do it", Betty said. Finley's eyes went wide. "What", Archie asked? This wasn't something Finley wanted to do. "Maybe you tell him that we just need to stay away from each other for awhile", she said her voice cracking as her heart was breaking. Finley felt a small tear roll down her face. "Anything to keep him away to appease the black hood, it doesn't have to be cruel just enough to make Jug believe it, we can walk it back later", she said. "You mean we hope you can", Archie said. "No, we can and we will please guys don't quick on me now", Betty pleaded. Archie looked toward me. "If this is really want you want Betty but we can help you defeat the black hood not destroy your life because of him", Finley said. Betty shook her head. "Just do this for me", was the last thing she said to us.

"Archie no more stalling we have to do this as much as it pains us both", Finley said. Archie sighed and the both of us started making their way to his trailer door. Jughead came out before they could knock or anything. He looked confused and not at all happy to see us. "Finley, Archie", Jughead said. "We got to talk Jug", Archie said. Jughead then came down the steps looking distraught as he looked around. "Now is really not a good time especially for you Archie, Finley you'll be fine", Jughead said. "What does that even mean", Finley asked? "You have to go, I'm serious", Jughead said. "What's going on", Archie asked? "What the hell do we have here", that familiar voice asked? Thats why Finley was okay to stay. Archie turned around slowly but Finley immediately turned around and it was as if Sweet Pea's eyes softened a little bit when he saw his girlfriend. His gaze went to the red head next to her and suddenly his eyes were dark. "They were just leaving alright", Jughead said. "Wait your friends with these thugs, I know Finley is apart of whatever she's apart of but you Jug", Archie said. "What's that supposed to mean", Finley asked well aware of what it meant? Sweet Pea looked at her knowing what he meant also. "So you think", Jughead said. "Are you joining the Serpents", Archie asked? Finley now realized how many secrets she really held. "Wait did you know about this Finley", Archie asked? Finley didn't say anything just picked at her nails. "If he survives and go ahead and call us thugs one more time", Sweet Pea said as he stepped forward to go after Archie. Finley was about to step in when Jughead already beat her to it. "Jughead, these are the guys who attacked me, who attacked Reggie and Veronica and Dilton your friends, this all makes sense now you and Finley are just crazy about hanging out with these Serpents", he said. Finley turned to Archie. "I think you should dial it down and speak about what we're actually here for", Finley whispered so only Archie could hear making her boyfriend very suspicious and wanting another go at Archie. "Is that why you guys are here, to warn me", Jughead asked? Finley shook her head quickly knowing that if she was hear to warn Jughead about the Serpents then she wouldn't have a boyfriend anymore. Sweet Pea watched her intently. "No, we came here to tell you to stay away from Betty, she doesn't want to see you anymore", Archie said. Finley swallowed the lump forming in her throat not feeling as if she could watch this happen. "Screw you, just saw Betty yesterday, she was fine", Jughead said. "No, dude, she's been wanting to break up with you for weeks, she's been agonizing over it, since you crossed the dark side, she couldn't bring herself to do it", Archie said. "So she sent you guys, Betty would never do that", Jughead said the sadness in his voice evident. "If you don't believe me, then call her and feel free to tell her you're a Serpent now, too, I bet she'll love that, she saw where you were headed, Jughead okay we all did, and she knows you can't be with them and with her and come on man, you know it too, you know what your just slipping in the deep end also Fin and it's taken Betty to help me realize that", Archie said rudely. "Harsh", Finley said to Archie. "Tell Betty I got the message", Jughead said sternly. Archie didn't say anything else just walked off and Finley stayed. "I-I'm so sorry Jug", she said. "You of all people shouldn't agree with all this", Jughead said. Finley looked toward Sweet Pea and then back to Jughead. "Archie is just letting his emotions get the best of him by saying cruel things, she just thinks you guys should stay away from each other for awhile", Finley said looking toward Sweet Pea now. "Just go Finley", Jughead said. Finley nodded and started walking away but not before Sweet Pea grabbed her arm. He actually gave her a small smile and she returned and she knew everything would be alright. Sweet Pea has to believe she doesn't agree with Archie about the whole dark side thing. Why would she be with him if she did believe it?
