I vanish from the eyes of those who witness.

I am a smoke who soon diminishes.

I may be visible but only for a while.

Like water I flow in the River of Nile

They say I'm free. But that's how they see me.

I'm locked in oblivion; I am never ever free

I wish I was a cloud that floats above the air

But, sadly, I'm a smoke. I vanish in thin air.

Someone like me, a smoke not a cloud

Endures the jeering sights of men, whom, to themselves, are proud
