Chapter 25

I don't want to ruin our friendship, and if I can't be more than a friend to her, I'll atleast be a good friend.

   That's why lately, I've been avoiding her, I want all my feeling for her gone, so I can support her as a friend, but I can't do that if she keeps unintentionally leading me on.

  So I hung around Ben and Raven more, and spent more time with them, but I didn't think of how it affected Amies, I didn't know she was feeling left out, I might have joked about it when she was telling me how she felt and lonely she was, but it got to me,

I never wanted her to feel left out or lonely, infact, that's why when she didn't want to come to the party, I had to insist,

lets just have fun today, like old times.

   "Okay, so what are we supposed to do now" she shouted through the loud music so I could hear her

  I moved in close, so my lips were almost touching her ear, in other for her to hear me clearly "just relax, try to have fun, we just got here"

   I could have sworn I saw her cheek reden when I pulled out

     "I don't thi-"

"Drew! You made it" Stephen cut in before she could finish her sentence, as he walks up to us with Ben and Raven by his side,

   "Hey Stephen what's up, nice party you got going" I said while giving him a handshake that ended with a snap of our fingers and a shoulder bump

   "I know right, you know I always play to win" he said,

  "Yet you've helped your team lose two games" I teased, smiling

   "Ouch, that hurt" he touched his chest acting as if he was hurt

  "The truth always hurts stephy boy"

  With that, we both ended up laughing at the ridiculous nickname

  "Oh! So you brought your girlfriend, Amy right" he smiled looking at Amies,

   "Wh-no!, I'm not his boyfriend, I mean, his not my girlfriend, fuck, I mean we're not together" Amies rumbled out, before whispering "damnit" under her breath

her cheek had alittle colour in them, probably from embarrassment, I found it alittle cute, but her words still hurt,

  "Er okaay" he replied, glancing over her body with is eyes

  It was starting to bug me so I cleared my throat, getting his attention

  "So, you're just friends huh?" He asked me, I'm not sure, but it felt like he was teasing me

    I gave him a sting eye "yes, we are"

      Now he was grinning "nothing more huh?"

   Yep, he was definitely teasing me

     "Don't you have better things to do?, guests to welcome?" I hissed

   Causing him to chuckle alittle "That, I do Andrew boy, that I do"

he looked back at Amies "maybe I'll see you around, who knows, we could have fun"

    "I doubt that," I said, causing her to smile,

   "You never know" he replied with his 'signature smile' as he likes to call it

  "Well, enjoy the party guys, I'll see y'all later" he said before waving to Ben And Raven then he walked away
