"Shackle her!"

The mysterious woman with long strawberry blond hair barked. She seemed so innocent, so...untouched, so approachable. But she was far from that.

My hands bald in fists at my side.

I want to rip those pearly white teeth out of her excuse of a mouth.

But I couldn't go with in two feet of this woman. I was securely held by two soldiers. Of course I could kick their butts. But more would come.

"Let me go!" I shouted with rage.

But there was nothing but coldness and emptiness embedded in to her soul less eyes. Vampires were soul less blood sucking monsters. They do not have a heart. They're heartless.

Axel seemed like he was having an internal battle with him self.

To make me think how despite the dread and hatred that streamed down my whole body like hot lava, I couldn't seem to see that same sorrow and cruelty that all vampires seem to hold in their life less eyes in his. His eyes held fear, understanding and...love. Then why did he do what he did?

What did he do?!

A voice in my head screams.

He sold me out to this mysterious woman. He's letting her take me away.

I cried and writhed in the soldier's hold.

And Axel...

He's only standing there.

Staring with fear swimming in his eyes.

Axel was not one to fear...
