Stiles drove around town with Katarina close on his bumper.  Kat had her phone connected to the Bluetooth in her car and was in a call with Stiles, helping them figure out what to do with Jackson (which Kat had found out that it was Jackson in the backseat of Roscoe, bruised, bloodied, and unconscious).

"What about your house?" Stiles asked the McCall siblings.

"Not with my mom there!" Scott quickly said.

"We need to take him somewhere where we can hold him long enough to figure out what to do with him," Kat calmly said.  She surprised herself at how well she was handling the situation.

"Or long enough to convince him he's dangerous," Scott interjected.

It was silent for a moment before Stikes said, "I still say we just kill him."

"We're not killing him!" The McCall siblings said at the same time.

"God!" Stiles groaned, "Okay, okay . . . I got an idea."

"Does it involve breaking the law?" Scott asked.

"By now, don't you think that's a given?" Stiles countered.  Kat snickered over Stiles's phone speaker.

"I was just trying to be optimistic." Scott sighed.

          "Don't bother, Scotty," Kat laughed.

--

Somehow, Stiles had managed to steal a prison transport van from the police station, and by sunrise, they had found a secluded clearing in the Beacon Hills Preserve to park it.  Jackson was cuffed up in the back (as well as clothed, thanks to Stiles), and now the McCall siblings and Stiles were left to figure out what to do next.

Suddenly, Jackson's voice echoed through the trees, earning the attention of the three teenagers standing nearby. "Stiles!  McCall!  Mini McCall!  I'm gonna kill you!"

The three teens shared a wide-eyed look before turning away from one another and trying to act as if they hadn't just had their lives threatened.  Katarina's phone suddenly broke the silence, the iPhone ringtone piercing the air.

She yanked it from her back pocket and answered it, not bothering to look at the caller. "Hello?"

"Where the hell are you guys?  Melissa's freaking out because neither you or Scott came home and I had no explanation as to why.  Allison is losing her mind because she hasn't heard from any of you, and you are the first person to pick up after seventeen calls." Annie's shrill and scolding voice came through the speaker, loud enough to be heard by Scott and Stiles several feet away.

Kat winced, taking the phone away from her ear briefly, "I'm sorry, really.  We've just had one hell of a night trying to figure out what to do, and -- "

"Just tell me where you are and I'll come meet you."

--

Annie had met up with Katarina and Stiles in the Beacon Hills Preserve while Scott and Allison returned to school, trying to keep up an appearance of normalcy.  She had stopped by a store to buy them all some sandwiches for lunch and Stiles had lost the game of Rock-Paper-Scissors that decided who got to give Jackson his lunch.
