Stiles sped Roscoe through Beacon Hills, while Scott stuck his head out the window in an attempt to track Lydia's scent.  He directed his question to Allison, who was squeezed between Kat and Annie between the front seats, "All right, but if she's turning, would they actually kill her?"

"I don't know," Allison quickly said, "They won't tell me anything, okay?  All they say is, "We'll talk after Kate's funeral, when the other's get here."

"What others?" Kat eagerly asked.  She rested her chin on the back of Stiles's seat as she turned to look at Allison.

"I don't know, they won't tell me that, either."

"Okay, your family's got some serious communication issues to work on," Stiles huffed.  He turned his attention to Scott, "Scott, are we going the right way?"

Scott sniffed the air before responding, "Take the next right!"

The tires screeched and Kat gripped onto the seat as Stiles flew down the next street on the right.

--

Lydia's scent had led the five teens to the Hale house.  The crime scene tape had been taken down, but the place still felt just as creepy and haunting as the first time Kat stepped foot on its grounds.

Disregarding the creepy feeling Kat felt burrow itself in her stomach, she made her way further towards the house with the feeling that they were in the wrong place.  She sighed, watching the condensation that came out of her mouth before turning to the group and asking, "She came here?  You're sure, Scotty?"

Scott and Annie shared a look, shrugging and nodding before Scott looked back to his sister, "Yeah, this is where the scent leads."

Kat let out a defeated sigh.  Lydia couldn't be there, she just couldn't.

Stiles stepped up to Kat's side, addressing the group as he ran a hand up and down her back, trying to comfort her, "All right, but has Lydia ever been here?"

"Not with me," Allison answered as she, Scott, and Annie moved up the hill to join Kat and Stiles.

Kat, though she didn't mean to, let out an aggravated groan and continued towards the home, letting her feet stomp on the ground.  Annie sighed and went after her best friend.

          "Kat, it's okay -- "

"No, it's not!" Kat rounded on Annie, eyes wild with anger, "She wasn't supposed to get caught up in this!  None of us were!  We were supposed to be done with this shit after Peter died!"

Stiles stepped up to the girls, "Kat, calm down."

Kat glared at Stiles, her stare becoming sharper than daggers.  He rolled his eyes and grinned at her, and suddenly her anger was washing away as if she wasn't just thinking of killing him because he told her to calm down.  With a huff, she crossed her arms over her chest, "You know, telling someone to calm down usually makes them even madder."

"Yeah, you look so angry," Stiles chuckled and started wandering back down the hill with a satisfied grin.  His eyes found something on the ground that didn't look like leaves. "Oh, hey, look at this," he said, letting his fingers gently run over the wire. "You see this?" Kat, Annie, and Allison joined his side, bending down beside him.

"I think it's a tripwire," Stiles said, looking up at Kat as he continued to mess with it.

As his hand ran over it, Kat leaned forward and quickly said, "Stiles, I wouldn't -- "
