"Ugh," I said, scrunching my face up at him. "What are you doing here? Isn't it clear that no one wants you around?"

Will just ignored me and examined my drawing, twisting it to see it at different angles in the light. "This is pretty good, sweetheart," he commented, his voice still husky.

I caught the hidden meaning in his words and scowled at him. "But?" I prompted him, and he gave me a smirk.

"Oh, I think I'll just go, since no one wants me here," he said teasingly, and I knew he thought he could get me that easily.

"Okay," I said, taking out another piece of paper and starting to draw. "You go ahead and do that."

I almost blew the act by laughing when I heard Will growl in irritation that his trick hadn't worked. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Simon shift slightly in his seat, making a subtle gesture towards Will. So, to investigate what was the big deal, I peeked through my eyelashes at Will. He was smirking, and I felt my blood run cold.

"But if I leave," Will began, and I forced my eyes away from his eerie beauty, "then you'd be left with him, and you never know what might happen."

When I realized that was all he had, I smirked, coming up with my own plan. As I replied, I refused to look at him, staying calm when I said, "Oh, you're talking about Simon? Well, we're already dating."

Simon sounded like he choked on his spit and Will growled loudly, turning his glare on to Simon. Simon was left wide-eyed in the face of the beast, and I pitied him a little bit. But I didn't pity him enough to rescue him. Sorry, Simon.

"You will stay away from her," Will demanded, his hands balled up in fists and still shaking in anger. "Understood?"

Simon was about to reply when I wrapped my arm around his shoulder, climbing over his arm rest and mine as well to sit in his lap. I blinked slyly up at Will as I leaned my head on Simon's shoulder. "What if I don't want him to stay away from me?"

If it was even possible, Will growled even louder at that point. His eyes were blazing with fury, and I couldn't help it when a smile stretched across my face. "He's not right for you, sweetheart."

I sniffed softly, and Will's glare melted into a look of concern. "But I really like him!" I wailed, collapsing against Simon in fake sobs.

I could tell Will was fighting with himself over whether he was going to comfort me or murder Simon, but eventually he decided on neither and just stood there awkwardly. After Simon continued to comfort me, he gave in, shouting, "All right, all right! Have it your way, sweetheart." And then he just stormed off, taking my picture with him.

I climbed off of Simon's lap and sat back in my own chair, smiling triumphantly. I had my head on the arm rest and my feet just up in the air as I hummed the tune to Radioactive by Imagine Dragons, absentmindedly kicking my feet. I almost jumped when I felt Simon brush some of my hair out of my face, but I managed to contain the urge.

"Why did you do that?" Simon whispered, and I could tell he was trying not to chuckle at what we had just done. "I mean, that was hilarious, but why did you get me involved?"

"He's obssesed with me," I replied, staring up at my leather boots. "I was tired of it and I figured that would chase him off. Why?"

"If you hadn't intervened when you did, he would have killed me," Simon whispered, and I could hear an underlying current of fear in his voice.
