Ryan's POV —an hour later—
I sit, alone, on the couch with some Jack Daniels and coca-cola. Just scrolling through Instagram. I've lost track of anyone I know. There's girls in practically bra's and short shorts. And guys grabbing on them and dry humping each other. It's nasty. Yea I'll maybe dance on a guy but nothing like what these people are doing. A pair bumps into my leg.
"Watch out please." I say but I'm sure they don't hear me. They do it again and this time I just stand up and walk out of the living room. Walking into the kitchen, there less people so I lean against the counter by the fridge and go on my phone.
"Ryan!" I hear someone exclaim. I look up and see Derek. I smile
"Hey." I say and he smiles back
"What's up?" He asks and I shrug
"Crazy in here." I say and he nods laughing
"Yea any parties skate throws it get crazy." He says and I nod.
"Why are you alone?" He asks and i shrug again
"I lost Jill." I say and he nods. Just then Jill comes walking in. Surprisingly, she's not drunk. She walks to me and smiles at both of us
"Hey." She says and we smile at her. I grab her cup and take a drink.
"Why are you just drinking Sprite?" I ask and she shrugs
"Don't feel like drinking." She says and I nod looking at her eyes
"Your high." I say and she laughs
"How'd you know?" She asks and I roll my eyes
"Your eyes are bloodshot. You don't seem drunk but you seem loopy." I say and she nods
"You should be an investigator." She says taking another drink from her cup. I nod laughing
"I'm gonna go find Skate. Be safe." Derek says and we nod. He walks away and I look at Jill. She biting her cup. I move her in front of me and the light brightens her face. She's not high, she was crying
"Why were you crying?" I ask and she frowns
"I wasn't." She says but now her nose sounds stuffy.
"What's wrong?" I ask and she sighs
"Confused." She says and I nod.
"About what?" I ask and she shrugs
"Tez says he wants to be in a relationship with me but we keep getting in fights." She says and I nod
"And then Swazz is always there to comfort me but I just...I don't know." She says and I laugh and hug her
"Go with whoever you feel will be the best for you." I say and she nods pulling away. She wipes her eyes and looks at me
"What about you? Why aren't you with Jack?" She asks and I shrug
"I haven't seen him yet." I say and she nods.
"Let's go find him." She says and I give her a look
"Last time I and to go find him, he was kissing another girl." I say and she laughs
"I'm gonna go freshen up my makeup." I say and she nods. I kiss her cheek and then walk out of the kitchen. I make my way through the crowd towards the stairs.

Jack's POV
We all laugh as skate explains when him and Jill got arrested for spray painting a wall. The guys and I, also a few girls some of the guys have befriended all begin to talk.
"So, are you single?" A girl asks turning to me. I nod taking a drink of my cup.
"Wanna go somewhere...private?" She asks rubbing my arm
"I have my eyes on someone sorry." I say and she bites her lip
"Oh come on. I know you want to." She says I shake my head and her hand trials up my leg. I shift.
"Seriously, I'm good." I say moving her hand. She pulls her shirt down a little to reveal a bit of a tattoo
"Wanna see the rest of it?" She asks and I shake my head. She leans in and starts to kiss my neck. I lightly push her off and my eyes land on Ryan. She's half way up the first flight of stairs, glaring at me. She looks away and walks up the stairs
"Ryan!" I yell getting up and walking fast to the stairs. I jog up them two at a time. I turn the corner and see Ryan walk up the second flight of stairs
"Ryan." I call
"Don't." She says and continues up. I follow after her. We reach the second floor and I lightly grab her arm and she stops and turns around. She jerks her arm away and continues walking.
"Ryan please." I say and she just continues. I again follow after her. She walks into her and Jill's room, closing the door.
"Ryan. Please it's not what it looks like." I say knocking
"Go away." She calls.
"Ryan. Just open the door. Let me explain." I say trying to open the door still knocking
"I don't wanna talk to you." She says and I can tell she crying.
"She came on to me Ry. I wouldn't do that to you again. The whole time I was telling her to back off." I say. I hear her heels clicking and then the door unlock. It whips open and there stands Ryan, with a tear stained face.
"I wasn't doing anything with her. I swear." I say and she just looks at me
"I fucking hate you." She says.
"She was coming on to me Ryan. Ask the guys. They saw." I say and she shakes her head closing her eyes. A tear comes out from one of her eyes and she wipes it. I lightly push her into the room and close the door.
"I don't wanna hurt you again Ryan." I say softly. She turns around and walks away to the bathroom.
"Ryan just talk to me." I say following her. She's leaning against the counter. She looks up at me through the mirror.
"I don't care." She says
"Yes you do. Your crying." I say and she sighs looking down again. I walk to her and wrap my arms around her waist. She looks up and at me.
"You guys looked pretty cozy." She says and I shake my head
"I was uncomfortable. You were the only thing running through my mind the whole time." I say and she just looks at me
"Why weren't you hanging out with me?" She asks and I sigh
"I figured you needed space." I say and she nods
"I did. But I was going insane with you not right by me. Thinking you were honking up with someone or flirting with someone." She says and I turn her around. I wipe under her eyes and softly kiss her. She kisses back.
"I was going insane not having you under my touch." I say pulling away and she softly laughs. There's a knock on the bedroom doors and I tap her hip and then walk away to the door. I open it and there stands skate and Jill.
"See. Told you they would be together." Jill says and I laugh. A few seconds later, Ryan appears at my side.
"Skate said he thought you saw the girl all up on Jack." Jill says to Ryan and she nods
"He was not having any of it I can assure you that." Skate says and she nods again.
"If it helps I got to kick her ass out." Jill says and we all laugh.

Ryan's POV
I hug Jill and she laughs hugging me back. Skate and Jack high five and we laugh.
"Well, well leave you two to your thing." Jill says and I laugh.
"Shut up." I say and she smiles
"Be quiet if y'all do anything." Skate says and Jack smacks the back of his head and skate punches Jack's arm. I laugh shaking my head.
"Ok. Bye now." Jill says kissing my cheek the grabbing skate's arm and pulls him away. I close the door and lock it and turn around and Jack laughs.
"Are those button easy to undo?" Jack asks and I nod with a confused look
"Yea Why?" I ask and he shrugs.
"No reason." He says and then places his hands on my hips and leans down and kisses me. I laugh wrapping my arms around his neck. Let's just say, what happens behind closed doors, stays behind closed doors.
