Vacation (JG)

Ryan's POV
I grab my phone as I hear a ding. It's a text from Jill. I unlock my phone and go to it.
Jill❤️: come over to my place now! Urgent!
I frown and then text back
Me: so urgent that you can't tell me over text?
Immediately get a text back
Jill❤️: yes now come over
I groan and then get up and throw my shoes on and grab my keys. I grab my phone and then walk downstairs and outside to my car. I start it and then head over to Jill's place.

Once I arrive, I park and then get out and walk to the front door. I knock and I hear running and then Jill opens the door. I laugh and she lets me in and I see suitcases
"Are you finally going to college?" I ask motioning to the suitcases
"Ha! No." She says and I laugh
"We're going to Puerto Rico!" She says excitedly and I burst out laughing
"Funny joke Jill. What did you wanna tell?" I ask and judging by her face, she's serious
"Jill! I can barely afford a Starbucks drink, what the hell makes you think I can afford a ticket to Puerto Rico?" I ask and she shrugs
"That's a lie first of all. You come from a wealthy family your just a cheapskate. And you decided to go to college. And maybe the fact that I already bought your ticket?" She says a little hopeful that it'll change my answer.
"Why did you do that?!" I ask now a little mad
"Cuz I knew you wouldn't buy a ticket so I was like 'hey if I buy her one, she can't say no." She says and I roll my eyes
"Why are you-just why? Since—why are we even going to Puerto Rico?" I ask and she smiles
"That's the thing. Skate and his friends are going and I convinced him to let us go! And the guys are really excited to meet you too!" She says. I just look at her
"I have so many reasons to say no right now." I say and she smiles
"But. You need a break from life. And college. And LA. And plus, I've heard there are super cute guys in Puerto Rico." She says and wiggles her eyebrows
"I just-" she cuts me off
"Your going. Point blank." She says and I roll my eyes
"Fine. I'll go." I say and she cheers
"YAY!!" She exclaims and I laugh
"How long?" I ask
"A month." She says and my eyes go huge.
"You are so lucky I'm on summer break." I say and she laughs
"Ok ok. Go home and pack. I'll pick you up early as fuck in the morning-"
"Wait. We leave tomorrow?" I ask and she nods
"Yea. Now go home! Hurry!" She says and I laugh and walk out and to my car. I open the door and wave to her and then get in. I then start it and head back to my house.

At home, I start to pack. More then half of my closet is empty by the time I'm done. I packed like 9 different bathing suits and a few pairs of shoes. My make is packed also. I lay down on the floor with a sigh. I just hope to all hell, that this vacation will be fun. And not a total drag like every other vacation me and Jill go on. Fingers crossed.
