I have a bipolar mindset when it comes to popsicles.

They can be so delicious, yet so painful.

Sure, they taste yummy and fill your tastebuds with the fruitiest taste, but there's also that horrid feeling.

You know that feeling when you bite into a popsicle and your teeth freeze causing the most intolerable pain?

You do everything you can to warm up your teeth.

Then finally, the pain goes away.

He was my popsicle.

He would give me that freezing pain of regret and danger.

As I waited for my teeth to get warm, I was waiting for him to change.

But then something did switch in him.

Then all at once, the pain just vanished. Just like it did when my teeth got warm.

Ethan Dolan was my popsicle.
