Eulalia placed her phone down as she turned to the person in the passenger seat. She faced  Jerry who stared out the window, it was a dreary day in California— it just fit the mood.

"I don't want this to be last time I'm seeing you." Jerry spoke, finally turning to meet Eulalia's gaze.

Eulalia gave a small smile as she reached over to place her hand against Jerry's bicep, "It won't."

"I'll be checking in on you." Jerry promised.

Eulalia nodded her head as she reached over to embrace the man she had began a friendship with. She would miss having Jerry around the house but it was best to keep everyone that Rocco saw as a threat away. It was for Jerry's own good, and it was overdue for him to visit his family anyway so why not now? The girl said her farewells to the man who collected his luggage, making his way over to the entrance of his gate. Jerry took one last look over his shoulder at Eulalia before continuing on his way.
