"Hey!" He screeched, ripping the device of his ears.

"How are you doing?" I smiled lightly.

"I was doing fine until you turned the TV off," he snapped.

"That's not what I mean, and you know it," I looked in his eyes, with a sorry look.

"If it's about Casey, I already knew that she was cheating, so I ended it two days ago."

"And you didn't bother telling me?" I almost whispered, hurt.

"It wasn't your business," he argued.

"It still would've been nice to be there for you."

"I don't need a babysitter," he rolled his eyes.

"Everyone needs someone," I stated.

"Not everyone, because you didn't know I broke up with her and I was doing just fine without anyone knowing about it." I could see the sadness in his eyes, even though he tried to stay strong.

"Caden, please talk to me," I pleaded.

"What's there to talk about Isabella? She cheated and I broke up with her. I. Am. Fine. I don't need everyone's pity; she wasn't the one. So what," he said, his voice shaking.

"I can tell you're hurting. I am your sister," I replied, him looking at me for the longest time before pulling me into a hug.

"Why did she do this to me Bella," he cried.

"She's not worth the tears. She's not worth the time," I comforted. "You have your friends who are there for you and you will meet someone in the future who will make you even happier than Casey did," I added.

"You're right...again," he laughed.

"When am I wrong," I teased, getting up from the bean bag.

"Are you good?"

"I'm great. Thanks little sister," he smiled.

"Can I unlock the door on the way out? I am guessing Jake would like to join you," I laughed, opening the door to him right outside.

"I told you," I smirked and patted Jake on the shoulder.

"How is he?" Jake asked.

"Better than fine," I smiled and signaled for him to go in and play video games together.

I shook my head when I heard Jake and Caden start screaming at the TV. It felt nice to talk to Caden again, he really is a nice guy who doesn't deserve Casey. I hope that Casey and that guy are happy together because I know that Caden is happy now that she's out of his life.

Walking outside down to the beach, I thought about Cece and Mason (when am I not). Cece has Mason under some sort of spell, Mason wouldn't have been acting up if they never had met on the plane. But after three weeks, she will be gone and how will Mason and I work out? Three days ago I had a crush on him, and now? Something's still there, but it isn't the same.

Sure, I miss Mason and our goofiness, but the fact that he chose a girl who he met three days ago, compared to a girl he has known for almost two weeks? That hurt. Laying my towel on the sand, I watched the sun go down in the water until someone laid their towel next to mine.

"Mind if I sit?" Cece asked.

"Oh, yeah sure," I forced a smile.

"I wanted to apologize about what I said on the boat. I am just jealous because Mason always talks about you and... how could he not? You are perfect and I felt threatened. You don't need to change yourself for anyone, especially not for Mason," she apologized, I could tell it was sincere.

"Thank you for your apology and what do you mean by changing myself for Mason?"

"It's completely obvious that you like him and hate me," she laughed.

"I don't like Mason, I'm happy for you two," I lied.

"We both know that's not true, I like Mason, I really do. But if he likes someone else, I don't know if we would work out in the long shot," she explain, looking up at the stars, smiling."That's why I'm leaving tomorrow morning," she turned her head and smiled at me. I was stunned.

"You don't need to do that," I denied.

"I know I don't, but I have too. Would you mind giving Mason this?" she asked, handing me a letter.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. You need to give him that yourself," I smiled. " The least you can do is say goodbye, don't leave him heartbroken."

"You're right. I hope we can start over and be friends," she flashed a friendly smile at me.

"Hi my name is Bella," I laughed.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Cece," she greeted, playfully.

"In some twisted way I will miss you," I teased.

"In some twisted way I will miss you too," she smiled again and pulled me into a hug.

"Do me a favor and become best friends with Mason again, he feels super bad about it," she grinned.

"Deal and do me a favor and give that letter to him yourself," I commanded, giving her back the letter.

"Deal."

Wow. This day took a turn. There was no way I thought that Cece would've left so soon, but I know Mason will be hurt. He might've talked to Cece about me, but he likes her.

The only reason why I didn't give Cece's letter to him myself was because I know what it feels like when someone leaves without a goodbye.

My father didn't. He only have me a letter to read when I was older. I never read it. If you can't say goodbye in person, don't torture the other person and write them something that will hurt them even more. You are not only leaving someone important, you are leaving behind all the memories.and feeling through someone else. Man up and give that person something before you leave for a long time, in person.

After the sun finally set, I rolled my towel and headed back to the house. My grandma is probably worried sick where I am. Dinner should be ready soon and she gets angry when everyone is not at the table at a certain time. I walked upstairs and threw my stuff in my room before making my way towards Mason's. Jake is still with Caden so it gives me a shot to talk to Mason alone and fix everything.

"Knock knock," I smiled and creaked the door open.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Are you okay?" I asked, letting out a breath I haven't noticed I was holding in.

"I am living," he joked.

"Did Cece come by," I bit my lip because of how stressed out I was. I don't even know why.

"Yep, she gave me a letter then left. No words or smiles. She just took off," he stated, shaking his head.

"I'm so sorry Mason,"I frowned.

"I guess everyone is having a bad day today," he smirked.

"I guess not," I shrugged.

"On the boat the other day, I wanted to throw Cece overboard when she told you to change yourself. But instead I stayed silent and hurt you even more," I could tell how sorry he was through him just talking. I felt like hugging him but, no I can't.

"Cece took over me and I haven't noticed that you were left behind. It's not what I wanted to happen, but now that she's gone I noticed that we aren't that close anymore. I want to change that. The past three day we have been here, I've been jealous of you and Jake," he admitted.

"Jake and I are best friends but so are we. We still are," I smiled reassuring him.

"Good because for a second I thought you replaced me."
