"Hold it!!! Hold that elevator!!!"
Ayan screamed while running towards the elevator. She skids inside hitting the guy.
"Sorry. Thank you."
The guy didnt say anything. He just took 1 step back. Away from Ayan.
Ayan took her earphones and put it in place.
Putting the song Stronger in full blast.
Tapping her feet. Swaying her hips a little she didnt notice the guy trying to hide his smile which only grew a little bigger when she tries to sing out of tune. Trying to rap.
She felt a tap on her shoulder.
She turned her head and looked at the guy.
White shirt. Black jeans. Rayban shades. Hoody and a cap at the same time.
*Bit too much...* She thought to herself.
He tapped his ears and pointed at her.
Ayan took off the left bud.
"Yes?"
"Thats a bit loud... "
"Sorry." She was about to put the earphones back...
"What are you listening to?"
Ayan eyed the stranger. She hates small talks.
"Stronger by Lee Joon Ki"
She was about to place her earphones back when she felt the tap.
"What now?!?" She exclaimed. *This guy is frustrating.* She thought.
"Do you like the song?"
Ayan raised her eyebrow at him.
"I wouldnt listen to it if I dont now would I?"
The stranger smiled at her.
"Can I listen to it now?"
He just nod.
39th flr is too far now. Ayan thought.
She let out a huge sigh. There was a small chuckle behind her.
She turned her head to see him chuckling.
Then screeching of metal was heard. The light went out.
The elevator dropped in lightning speed.
Ayan screamed and grabbed the rail. The guy behind her grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him and covered her with his body.
Then they stopped.
Ayan was clutching the arm around her.
"Are you ok?" The voice whisphered in her ear.
She just nod.
He let her go slowly and walked towards the emergency button.
"Hello? Anyone there? Hello?"
Ayan took her phone from her bag.
"No signal."
He turned around to her.
He nod and sat down.
Ayan did the same.
*I cant be stuck here. I CANT!!* her head screamed.
Ayan covered her face and shook her head.
"Hey.. are you ok?"
She didnt answer
She felt his hand in her shoulder.
