Pretending to be the pure gold they hope to be, their real worth sums up to fool's gold. Those who shine bright like a dimand in the rough, are outshined by the fool's gold. Yet, they are humble and keep their spirts high for they are honest. Their heart is as pure and clear as who they are, as clear as a dimand.

Sometimes, we need to accept that those who succeed don't aim for their goals with corruption in their heart. They don't go through the easy path, blind with the obstacles.

I sat, staring directly at the line of trees that unleashed the wild. Prince Hari had just left, leaving me some time on my own. I had requested so, and he obeyed. I smiled to myself as I sat, replying the memories of those words fall through his mouth.

Maybe, I'll be the first one to. Or was it, I'll perphas be the first one.

That was the thing about memories, they fade and are replaced with the present. I kept grasping onto the remembrance of his smile, yet the memory was blurry. I wish I had studied his face longer and memorize each outline. Instead, the memory of the crown lingered. Earlier, he explained the trap his parents set for those. They repeadly changed the "crown" and the real one hiden. Hence, those who steal the crown receive the fool's gold. The pure gold is hidden within the corruption of money, away from the dirty fingers.

To me it was a smart plan. Soon enough, they will realize their mistake hidden within their pride. I stood up and flattened my dress, heading inside. The thought of Marlee ever coming back lingering in my mind as I headed up the staircase and turned a corner. With each guard, I gave an acknowledging nod. Finally, I turned the doorknob to my room. Soon enough, I was greeted with friendly hellos from Lucy, Anne, and Mary.

"Lady Ami." Anne nod in acknowledgment, serious as always as she gave a slight nod.

"Good afternoon," I smiled back.

"We have to get you ready for the tea party. Come on!" Lucy urged making room for me to sit on the chair. I sat down obediently and stared at the mirror, as my three maids turned a casual look into somewhat fancy. My eyelids were reinforced with darker colours, instead mundane colours of skin tones. Atlas, the look was completed with the curl of my eyelashes. I blinked fastly, admiring the upward curves of my lashes, that made my eyes pop.

"As for the dress-" Anne stated nervously while wringing her hands.

"We didn't finish it," Lucy finished her sentence, through the slip of her mouth.

"We are dearly sorry," Anne looked me in the eye, pulling herself together. I took a deep breath in, carefully observing Mary's face. Her figure was shadowed by Lucy and Anne, she stood silently, her eyes lingering on her hands. Just minutes ago had I realized that there was a tea party by Lucy's hurry, and now I have no dress to attend the fancy event. I felt a rapid beat of threat slowly crawling behind me as it suddenly shook my body. I wasn't prepared.

"Sorry," Lucy repeated. I looked down at my yellow casual dress and made a decision.

"I think that I'm prepared." I used my hands to present the outfit of the loose fabric, that hung irregularly around my body.

"I'm going to get some materials. We still have time," Anne ran out of the room as she spoke rashly.

In, out, in, out. Anne stuck the needle in and out of the fabric to create a belt around my waist. Although the one line didn't hang perfectly around my waist, it hang angelically as if it was meant to be carefree. Along with, Lucy added a necklace with a pattern between flowers and wooden beads. The rhythm of the beads perfectly created a sense of movement and life to my dress. Lucy hugged me tightly as I laughed warmly.
