All of a sudden, i was brought out of my thoughts and back into reality by an ear-piercing bang! at the door. My hand gripped the handle, as my heart skipped beats whilst hammering against my chest. The sound was so penetrating i could hear it ringing in my ears. Whoever or whatever was on the other side of my door was on the verge of two things:
1) giving me a heart attack
2) breaking down my door
With out even thinking, i opened the one thing keeping me safe, locked away from the evil beast i was seconds from becoming face to face with. In the whole process of opening the door, i told myself that there was nothing to be afraid of, that i was probably just exaggerating over nothing. "Its probably just one of your mates...right?" I thought and questioned myself.
