I woke up around 10:00 am. I checked my phone and I saw one text from Colby

It must be noods

C:

K: Yayyyy! Noods!

C: Your turn

K:😒. I'm good

C: Fine. I expect something when we get back to LA

I got ready for the day and went downstairs

Nobody was home so I grabbed my mom's keys and texted Max

K: Are you still in LA or did you fly over to Texas for Christmas

M: I flew back home about a week ago

K: Ok. Are you busy right now

M: If you consider listening to my mom saying I need to get a real job rather than YouTube busy, than yes but if you don't consider me being busy, stop by

K: I'll be there in 20 minutes

M: See ya

I went to my mom's car and I drove to Max's place

When I got there I was hoping Max had told his mom we broke up
I rang the doorbell and was greeted by his very happy, and hyper mom

"OH HI KATE! IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU-"she said very peppy"- MAXWELL! YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S HERE!"
I guess that answered my question

"Mom, we're not dating anymore we're just friends" Max said
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that" Mrs. Geason said

"You ready to go?" I asked Max

He nodded and said bye to his mom

"Where are we going?" Max asked
"You'll see" I replied

There was this girl I new who had a huge crush on Max but she couldn't date him cause Max and I were dating at the time

"Random question but, Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked

Her looked at me, raised an eyebrow and said
"Look. You're dating Colby. I'm dating a girl named Kailey. We can't keep hooking up"

I laughed and said
"That was one time!"

We laughed and we decided to go to get lunch
