Arrival of the Reaper

Goodbye,

Try not to die,

Go and make your dream to fly,

Don't gain your consciousness through any lie,

You are a brave soul,

So daring in front of the lull,

Are your mind and heart not full?

Is the Reaper coming to make you pay the toll?

For if this is truth,

The Owl and The Crow will fall,

And they will call,

No one will hear their pain,

They will leave with everyone thinking them insane,

But if you are not insane,

You've nothing to gain,

Just stay in the bed where you were lain,

Waiting to be slain,

No one will remember your name,

The Owl and The Crow will go,

Without peace in their soul,

Their candle's flame so dull,

It will fade and flicker,

Into a nonexistent state,

The rest will accept fate,

But,

The Owl and The Crow,

They went against the tides,

Held their breath in the water,

Longer than science provides,

And they broke their own destinies,

As the Reaper came.
