Mercedes POV
" Pieta" he whispered
A tear falls from Masons cheek as he starred at my baby bump.
" Hold tight, im gonna get you outta here " I replied
I kept flipping the keys until i saw key 856. I sighed in relief and unlocked the cell door.
I looked at Masons weak form.
I grabbed my cell phone and call Roman
" Roman, i need your help, come down onto the dungeons im going to need your strength. "
" Alright all be there in about five minutes- less if there's nobody from Kovar's coven/pack "
I hear Mason growl softly.
" Who's Roman" He asked
" My Ex brother-in-law " I replied.
" you were married?" Mason asked angrily
I shook my head.
" I almost did." i replied
" Who were you gonna marry before you met me?"
" The Hybrid, Kovar Quinn "
Mason looked at me with Disbelief and Anger before he could reply Roman had came in.
" How'd you find us so quickly?" i asked
" Your scent--Well that and vamp-hearing did the rest. "
Roman helps Mason up and we get out of the dungeons.
" Have you seen Kovar?" Mason asked
" No, not yet. " Roman told him
Third POV
Minutes later
" Brother, I don't think that's a good idea sneaking off with the prisoners especially with this mutt" Faith replied gesturing Sage's direction
Sage growled, slightly offended by what Faith said.
" Faith, she's not a mutt." Jace replied annoyed with his younger sister
" I'm not a dog, sweetheart, I'm a panther get your goddamn facts straight" Sage snarled
Faith smiled.
" I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to the pregnant werewolf next to you." She replies
Mason growled.
" why are you doing this?" Mason asked
".... I'm doing this because I want to... just because we were friends then, doesn't mean that we are now. " Faith replied
Masons scrunched his eyebrows.
" You can be serious Mason. We've haven't seen each other for more than 5 years. What did you expect that was going to happen?" She replies
Mercedes glanced at the two with a hint of jealousy shining in her eyes before she hid it.
" I don't know... but what I do know is, I won't ever love you, not in the way that you loved me. " Mason replied I'm honesty
" Did you do this out of jealousy? faith! answer me!" Mason replied as he began to raise his voice at her.
Faith flinched.
" I suggest you leave, before Kovar finds out about your plans. " Faith replied
" That sounds for remarkably like blackmail Faith " Sage replied
