Chapter 20

Masons POV
8:20 P.M.

" This better be good Lukas " I growled im frustration

" Alpha Mason, there's been a spotting of a creature running throughout the woods, Guards on the lookout think that its a hybrid. " Lukas replied

" Hybrid?!? If there's a hybrid lurking around, Kovar must be behind it. We need to go and find out." My wolf replied

" Pieta, Stay here. " I replied softly

i saw the worried look on her face.

" Ill be fine. " i assured

Mercedes looks at me, not saying another word. I kiss her forehead and headed for the door, i made a final glance at my mate before i left.

Not knowing what was going to happen next. i begged for the moon goddess to keep my mate safe.

" Where were the guards when this happen?" i asked

i starred at a rotting corpse that was hanging above a tree. Blood was scattered all around, along with
some dead rouges that was found near the area.

" They were at edge of the territory " The captain replied

" Why? " Lukas asked

" They claimed to see a hybrid, one of my guards saw a creature with inhumane speed. " He replied

Lukas scoffed " That doesn't mean that it was a hybrid Captain. It could have been vampire " Lukas replied

" Yes, but how many vampires have Golden-Yellow eyes? Beta Lukas " The Captain replied

" My apologies Captain Lance " Lukas replied

Mercedes POV
Twelve hours later

" Mason!" i gasped out, i looked around and noticed i was in the hospital. I started to panic, the heart monitor was going wild.

" What Happened?" i asked

" One of the guards that were doing patrol found you inside the woods, passed out. " A nurse replied

My eyes widen. Memories started to come back, Jordan had drugged me then revealed to me his plans.

Mason!

" Wheres Mason? " i asked

I was unsure whether there plan had worked or not. The nurses looked back at one another until one had spoke. i looked at her name tag, Her name was Julie.

" Im sorry luna, but the alpha was taken while you passed out. " Julie replied

" Get me out of here. " I demanded

Julie looked back at her fellow colleague, Michele.

" Luna-" Michele had spoke but was interrupted by Ryan.

" Julie, Michele can you leave us alone for a minute. " he replied

They both nod their heads and closed the door.

" Where is he" i asked

" We don't know yet but we have a witch working on a location spell. " Ryan replied

I nod my head, feeling a little relieved.
I looked at ryan and noticed he had a strange look on his face.

" What? What's wrong?" i asked

" Out of curiosity do you know anybody by the named Kovar?" Ryan asked

My body was tense.

" Why do you ask" i replied

" There was a note attacked to you when you were found. It mentioned you and from the sounds of it, You and Kovar know each other. " He replied

Masons POV

I woke up as the sunlight had hit my face. I started to look around my surroundings and realized that i wasn't at the pack house.

I tried to move my hands but they've been tied down.

" Shit " I cursed

I heard the door knob shaking and keys rattling. I stopped struggling against the ropes and waited for the door open.

Once the door eventually open.
A man enters, he looks like he's in his late thirties.

" Where am I? " I asked

The Man ignored me. He unties the ropes and places a tray of food in front of me.

" I don't want food. I want to know what's going on. " I replied

" Where the hell am I.... Why am I here. " I replied completely confused

Again the man ignored me. I sighed and starred at the food once again.

" Honestly, it looked like crap. " i thought

I couldn't tell whether the food was laced with poison or if it was ' Naturally ' leafy green.

" Hey! " i shouted

" God damnit, answer me! " I growled

The Man was leaving. He wouldn't answer any of my questions.

I couldn't feel my wolf, I didn't know if Mercedes was safe or not.

I felt Weak, Confused, Angry.

I kicked the food aside and waited for the door to open once more.

Kovar's POV

" Sir, What do you want us to do? Were prepared to attack if you need us to. " my beta replied

" don't do Nothing yet. Lets see how this turns out" i replied

Luka nods his head and walks out the door. I starred onto the screen of the Cameras.

I watched as Mason was growing furious as one of my hybrids ignored him. Denying him of any answers.

I switched my gaze on the cameras.
Mercedes was currently in the Hospital with Ryan. He must have seen my letter.

Mercedes POV

Im coming for you Mia.
One way or another, you will be mine once again.
Your Mate is currently being held captive. If you want him alive, be a good girl and submit to me.
