Chapter 4
Mercedes POV

After my match I was really emotional, tears are coming out of my eyes as I watch my fans cheer my name.

I drove home and headed towards my room, I stripped out of my clothes and into a big t-shirt and some shorts then drifted off to sleep

The Next Morning...

knock knock knock

As I opened my eyes a ray of sunlight had hit my face, the birds were chirping, I got out of bed letting a small yawn escape from my lips

walked towards my window, I saw a black Camaro parked in my front yard, I rushed downstairs and unlocked my front door.

I look threw the peephole and I see Mason on the front porch

" Hey Mason what's up?"

" I'm sorry is this a bad time?"

" Oh no it's fine, please come in"

" Again I'm Sorry for disturbing you Mercedes "

" Mason, I said its fine "

He hesitantly nods his head and walks inside

Masons POV

Once the door had opened my wolf started howling at my gorgeous mate

< MARK HER! NOW! MASON!> My wolf Max yelled

I continue to ignore him as I kept trying to apologize to Mercedes for disturbing her
But as soon as Mercedes kept walking my wolf started to growl in approval I mentally roll my eyes.

As My wolf started to ignore me he kept fighting me for control and eventually gave up.

Max started cussing at me But I choose to ignore him, and focused my attention towards Mercedes.

But as I did I started to notice Mercedes curves and her-
"Uh..Mason?"

" Huh? Ah, Sorry I-Um got distracted " I replied as I continued to check her out, She probably must have noticed because she said." Oh. Um. Should I change? " "No!" Max yells. I clear my throat and replied again " I Mean No. "

Mercedes looks at me confused but then changed the subject " Um OK, So um if your here for your stuff its right there " She said pointing at a chair in the living room.

I nod my head in response and grabbed my stuff, after I came back Mercedes was already making breakfast " Did you eat anything this morning?" She asked. I shake my head and replied " No I haven't " She then gestured me to have a seat and took a plate of pancakes in front of me.

I replied with a thank you and she nodded her head, I decided to ask her about that guy she was on a date with, just thinking about him makes me and my wolf growl

" So how was your date?" I asked Mercedes looks at me for a moment then replies " Its was Nice " She said

I nod my head and started to grow curious about him "So is he like your boyfriend or something? " I asked with a slight growl. Mercedes then stops eating and looks at me " Look Mason its none of your business on who I go out with. But no he isn't my boyfriend "

I nod my head then continue eating...

Mercedes POV

After I answer his question Mason goes back to eating his breakfast, I was curious on why Mason wanted to know about Michael, at first I was thinking he might have been jealous but we just met.

I ignored the fact that Mason was staring at me and continue eating, a vibration causes us both to snap back into reality

I looked at my phone and its a text message from my friend Nicole.

NICOLE " We need to talk"

ME " About?"

NICOLE " Your date with Michael!"

I was confused and curious at the same time how did Nicole know I was on a date with Michael? I snapped out of my thoughts and completely forgot that mason was here. " Are you okay Mercedes?" Mason asks I nod my
Head and replied " Yeah" he nods
His head and tells me that he has to go. We say our goodbyes and I quickly change my clothes

After I changed into my outfit, I drove off to Nicole's house and parked at her front door, Once I got out I was tackled down to the floor.

A groan had escaped from my lips and I looked at the person who tackled me " Dam Nicole! What the fuck!" I stare at Nicole with an annoyed expression in my face. Once we got up from the ground, she started interrogating me with all these questions.

I raise my hand up signaling her to stop talking, Nicole immediately stops, knowing what happens when I get angry
" It was just date Nicole no need to be dramatic " she gives me a look of disbelief and responds " Just a date! Mer you barely even go to dates without beating the crap out of somebody" Nicole Yells.

I roll my eyes as we walked in the front door, " Your over exaggerating Nicole " I replied
"No. No I'm not and you know it" I groan in frustration " Okay Nicole. It was just a date between me and my friend Michael, and there was no point of my the crap out of somebody because their was no reason to" I said to her as she continued to frustrate me

" Okay then but one more question" she said I groan in frustration and said " Fine " She nods her head and replied " Who was that cute guy that interrupt your date?" That last question had caught me off guard but something with in my caused my veins boil as she called Mason cute but I tried to ignore the feeling " That cute guy is Mason and he's a friend of mine " Nicole then raised her eyebrow and starred at me " Yeah Sure he is "

I ignored Nicole and my phone started to vibrate in my back pocket. I checked my phone and I got a text message from........... Mason?

MASON< Hey Mercedes I was wondering if you could come with me and my friends to the water park? >

MERCEDES < Yeah of course but can I bring my friend Nicole? With me? >

MASON< Yes Of course. Ill pick you guys up at 12pm >

After texting Mason I didn't even realize that I was smiling Till Nicole stared at me with a sly smirk and with her eyebrow raised " Just a friend huh" She says
I roll my eyes and responded
"Yes Nicole now come on Were going to the water park with Mason and his friends " She nods her head and grabs some stuff from her closet then we drove off to my house....
