My Pokemon Journey

The gym and my new Pokemon

"Hello my name is Kieran, I want to become a Pokemon master just like Ash Ketchum."

So it's another day on my adventure. I still got to have a battle with Lois to determine who gets to battle Brock first for the gym badge. I hope to come across a new Pokemon and hopefully Lois gets a new Pokemon today  because me, Jordy and Jack all have two Pokemon's.

So I do my routine get out of bed go to the bathroom and have a shower then brush my teeth. I put my clothes on in my bedroom and headed down stairs to find everyone had left before me.

That's embarrassing I was the only one left while everyone was on the way to the next destination.

I left the hotel room, quickly gave the keys to the manager and legged it towards my friends.

"Oh, hey Kieran. Sorry we left you. Lois found a new Pokemon that she wanted to catch but it got away." Jordy explained

"Oh what was the Pokemon?" I asked.

"Caterpie." Lois said.

"Oh the bug Pokemon." I exclaimed.

"Yeah." Lois looked very upset.

"Don't worry Lois, you will get another Pokemon soon. So how about that battle?" I said.

"I will beat you." Said Lois.

I smiled at Lois and she smiled back.

Jordy sent her Spearow and Squirtle out to watch the battle, while Jack send his Bulbasaur and Ekans out to watch as well.

I had two Pokemon but only one could be used in this battle as Lois only had one Pokemon, which is her Eevee.

I sent out Pidgey to go and watch with the other Pokemon.

"Charmander your in charge!" I shouted.

"Eevee, be my dazzling diamonds and win for me." Said Lois.

Jordy was the one in control of the match.

"Okay guys it's a one on one battle. The first Pokemon left standing is declared the winner... Good luck... Let it begin."

Before I attacked, Charmander was having problems but little did I know it was a new move called ember.

That's what I needed a powerful move such as ember to take down my opponent.

"Charmander use tackle!"

The battle was going to be tense after the first attack from my Charmander.

Lois bounced back with a sand attack, is that how your going to play, I see.

"Charmander use ember to clear the air!"

As the air cleared Eevee was gone, it was above Charmander in the sky.

We waited for it's move. It came at us with tackle.

Charmander dodged the attack, he used tackle than ember to see out the match.

"Eevee is unable to battle.... Kieran is the winner!"

Something about this battle was amazing the way Lois had her plan heading into this battle. I did kinda feel bad that I won because she was pulling out all the stops to win this.

"Lois that was intense battle. I liked your move of sand attack and then to attack from above that was smart." I said.

"Thanks." Lois said, we both smiled and carried on with our journey.

I looked to my left to see a Pokemon in a shadow watching over me but I didn't quite make out who it was.

We all headed to Pewter City Gym where we met Brock the gym leader. I challenged him to a gym battle.

"Welcome! This is Pewter City Gym and I'm Brock, your rock type gym leader. I here by accept your challenge and I shall not lose."

"This is a gym battle, it will be a two on two battle. The winner will be announced when one side don't have any Pokemon left. The challenge can only make substitute.... let the game begin!" Said the referee.

I smiled. He brought out his first Pokemon Onix. I scanned it through the dex and moved swiftly to bring out my Pokemon Pidgey.

My Pidgey took one look at Onix and it was scared.

I began to think really Pidgey your scared of Onix. You was scared off Squirtle before, now Onix. This is a nightmare.

I attacked first by getting Pidgey to use his speed to fly around Onix trying to make it confused and hitting with tackle.

We managed to keep it up for a bit before Pidgey was attacked by Onix tail slamming it into me.

"Pidgey you okay?" I asked.

My Pidgey had an angry look in its eyes.

Okay I thought this is my time.

"Pidgey use sand attack than use a variety amount of gust!" The sand attack was strong but wasn't as strong as the gust it managed to keep Onix down before Pidgey hit it with tackle.

"Onix is unable to battle the winner is Pidgey!"

"Nice strategy you had going there. You remind me off my old companion.... but the battle isn't over yet, Geodude you're next!" Brock said.

Pidgey looked very tired but I wanted to use his speed before using my Charmander.

"Geodude use tackle."

"Quick, Pidgey dodge and use gust."

The gust was strong as it sent Geodude flying.

I proceeded with tackle as my next move. It hit than Brock demanded Geodude to use mega punch but Pidgey speed was too quick.

I wanted Pidgey to use tackle as my next move but I used sand attack instead. Using that move allowed me to bring out Charmander. The first move, ember, was a hit.

"Geodude is unable to battle so the winner is Charmander and Kieran of England city."

We won yes I couldn't believe I beat Brock. I was so happy with myself I felt like I was on top of the world.

"Kieran I present you with the Boulder Badge. I was really impress with your battling style." Said Brock.

I smiled and thanked him, I looked over my shoulder again and it was the same shadow. I left my friends, who was talking to Brock about the next battle.

I went outside to find the Pokemon. I whipped out the pokedex and scanned it.

"Ponyta, the fire type Pokemon.
Ponyta, a Fire Horse Pokemon. Its mane is made of intense flames."

I looked at it and it had a torn in her foot, so I got it out and as I got it out one of my unused Pokeball had fallen out my bag. The Ponyta pressed on it and eventually I caught it and I just smiled.
