Ashley's POV:
I slowly opened my eyes, not feeling the warmth that I had felt before. I sat up in bed, noticing that the warmth that I wasn't feeling, had up and left while I was sleeping. Albeit there was a stinging sensation in my chest but that didn't last long when I heard a knock on my door.
"Doors opened." I said after yawning. Seconds passed before Jordan opened the door and came into my room with a bag of stuff in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other. I smiled softly at him. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't Tyler but why did I care? He was nothing to me and this guy here was my boyfriend.
"Hey, baby." Jordan says walking over to me and settled the bag and flowers on the ground before he climbed into bed with me and gave me a light kiss on the forehead. I smiled a small smile up at him, gesturing that I was happy he was here.
"When are you coming back to school mi amor?" Jordan asks and I internally cringe when he called me 'my love'. "On Monday. I have a lot of catching up to do." I nodded to myself, making up my mind that I had to go to school on Monday.
"Good, I miss not seeing you there and your friends have too." I smiled, missing everyone as well. "So why weren't you at school?" He asks and I looked at him in the eyes and said, "Sick. Was throwing up constantly. It was fucking disgusting." I lied.
It was so easy for me to lie to Jordan in his face as my eyes were looking deeply into his. His eyes reflected concern and I was instantly hit with guilt from the sight. He pressed the back of his hand against my forehead.
"You are a bit warm. Maybe I should've brought soup instead of candy and junk food." he pondered and my eyes lit up. "Don't you dare think about returning them. Give me them." I said, giving him a hard glare. He shook his head before he got off the bed and grabbed the bag.
I dug into the bag, pouting internally that my favorite candies weren't in here but I didn't say anything. Instead, I grabbed the bag of skittles, since that was my most favorite candy in the bag and plastered a bright smile on my face. "Aww, you know my favorite candy!" I lied through my teeth, not wanting him to feel bad.
I guess it worked considering a wide smile appeared on his face at what I said and he sat back against the headboard and made me sit between his legs. I laid my back against his chest, trying to seek his warmth and yes he was warm but he just wasn't as warm as Tyler was.
I ripped open the bag of skittles and started munching on them, savoring the flavors of each piece. I sighed before I reached over and grabbed my phone, logging in with my fingerprint since I, for some reason, didn't want Jordan to see my actual password.
I scrolled through Pinterest, pinning pictures of BTS to their specific board. "Hey what are you doing there missy? I'm your entertainment." Jordan says before he snatched the phone from my hands and turned it off. He tossed it towards the foot of the bed and I turned my head to face him just to send him a death glare.
He gave me a smile and I turned back around. I heard a knock come from the front door downstairs but dismissed it since I heard Abby went to go answer it. "Jordan I wanna hear the dumbest jokes you got." I tell him.
"Your wish is my command." He was in thought for a little until his face lit up. "Alright, what do you call a singing laptop?" He asks and I shrug. "A Dell." He says. I narrow my eyes and shake my head at him. "Fine. Let's see... Alright, what's the difference between a snowman and a snowwoman?"
I pondered in thought, immediately getting the answer but I wanted him to think he succeeded so I shrugged.
"Snowballs." Snowballs. He said at the same time I thought it. I let out a fake laugh for his benefit. He tapped my nose and said, "I knew I could make you laugh." I nodded but stopped laughing when I felt an odd sensation that I was being watched.
