Ashley's POV:
We finally arrived at Nathan's house and it was already midnight, and we had school in the morning. I groaned internally at the thought of that disgusting place. "Alright, I'm heading home guys." I said after stepping out the car, yawning, and stretching towards the sky. "You're not gonna sleep over?" Nathan asked, his arm wrapped around Cindy. "Nah, but hey, mind washing my jacket that's in your house. I don't feel like getting it so... wash it, and put it in my room." I said. "I regret letting my mom give you a room in my house..."
I rolled my eyes flipping him off. He let go of Cindy and wrapped his arms around me in a hug. "I know those hickeys were from Tyler, but I won't say anything to you. I know you and I know you regret it. I'm sorry Ashy." I nodded and hugged him for another couple of seconds before letting go. Luke walked over to me and hugged me saying, "Night K-bear, don't let the bedbugs bite." I shook my head laughing. Sammy opened his arms wide for an embrace making me roll my eyes at him but walked into his arms nonetheless. "If you want to talk about what happened tonight, you know where I live, you have my number. You know I would never judge right?"
I nodded and hugged him tighter, shutting my eyes tight in the process. "I know. I know you regret it. I love you, sissy." I nodded whispering and 'I love you too Sammy.' After we separated, I quickly gave Cindy a hug telling her to always stay by Nate's side for safety. I waved bye to the rest of girls since they were peeking through the window. "Bye Natey, bye Sammy, bye Lukey poo, bye CC, bye Chloe, bye Tiffany, and bye Samantha." I yelled over the loud noise coming out of the engine of my motorcycle. After they waved at me, I drove towards my house.
************
When I got home I turned off my bike, got off and decided I didn't want to deal with my dad just in case he was awake so I just walked towards the backyard and looked up at the tree. I shrugged and stepped on the bark of the tree, holding onto the branch very tightly. I climbed it, slowly, making sure I didn't lose my footing and finally I sat down on the branch that was very close to the roof. I stood up carefully and walked slowly towards the roof of the first story and stepped on it, crawling towards my window. I opened it, thanking myself for leaving it unlocked. I stepped into my room, closing the window, and locked it.
I quietly walked out of my room, walking towards my brother's room. I walked in after unlocking the door, the sound of his fan, muffling the noise my feet made when I walked into his room. I probably should've removed my shoes when I was in my room. I walked over to his bed, seeing he was sound asleep, his curls pulled up into a tight bun. I slowly sat on the bed, by his side, seeing the half of his face that was pressed against his pillow.
I pulled his blanket up, covering him up to his shoulders. I looked down at my brother tenderly, hoping-no, knowing he was going to have a bright future, unlike his sister. I sighed, pushing a curl away from his forehead that escaped the bun. I bent down and kissed my brother's forehead tenderly saying I love you to him and giving him one last look, before quietly walking out of his room, and shutting the door, but locked it before going back to my room. I locked my door, sighing, wondering what the hell was my life. I shook my head, removing my shoes and socks, setting the shoes into my closet, and tossing the socks in my hamper.
I stepped out of my pants, looking at my bed then at my dresser. Deciding I was too lazy to put on shorts, I just threw myself into bed, after turning my own fan on, the loud noise, making me even more tired. The cold air that was hitting my bare skin, gave me goosebumps so I grabbed my blanket and covered my body with it. I inhaled deeply but instead of smelling the lavender smell from the laundry detergent, I smelt something, strong. Manly, like... cologne?
My mind was basically asleep so before I could even comprehend anything and try to figure out where that smell was coming from, I fell into a deep sleep, with a warm feeling, and the nice intoxicating smell, penetrating my nose.
