Chapter 26

(Y/N)'s eyes darkened and a devilish smile was now on her face. Seeing the way she changed, one of the guards tried to shoot her only to miss and hit another guard instead. In one swift movement, (Y/N) went over to that guard who tried to shoot her and slit his neck with her dagger.

The other guards were startled that (Y/N) just killed one of their own. They knew that their job was dangerous but they never thought that (Y/N) has changed so much that she'd kill a guard.

"Shocked?" (Y/N) taunted. "There's more where that came from."

Another guard tried to shoot her only to miss once more. (Y/N) took her Launcher and shot the guard who tried to shoot her. There he was writhing in pain. Jack also shot at many guards as he can.

"Jack, take the backpack and head over to Jorge!" (Y/N) said as she dodged and stabbed as many guards as she can.

"But what about you?" Jack said as he shot another guard.

"I'll catch up! Go!"

Jack did as she said and ran away. The guards were all heading for him but when he was out of her sight, (Y/N) let herself lose control. She stabbed more of the guards and shot them with her Launchers until they were all in the ground. She took all of them and placed them all in a dark room. Gagging them and tying them up. Of course, she didn't take one inside and ate him so that she'll be prepared for the travel and new adventures she'll have.

When she was about to go to the Berg, (Y/N) herd a gunshot and she saw the bullet just a few inches away from her face, completely missing her. (Y/N) turned around and saw more guards and they seem to be more armed than the others.

"You missed," (Y/N) smirked as she faced them.

"Oh darling, I never miss," the guard chuckled.

(Y/N) hated this man's pride. She made a run for them, dodging the bullets that were for her. She stabbed one of the guards, took his Launcher and gun. She shot five guards with the gun. She saved one shot from the Launcher for Mr. Pride.

"You thought you can take me?" She laughed as he was writhing in pain because of the electricity.

The guard tried to answer but all he can let out is screams of pain. Taking the gun, (Y/N) shot the man at his right leg. She smirked when she heard his scream.

Taking the Laucher, the gun, and the dagger, (Y/N) headed out into the Berg. (Y/N)'s problem is that she's still not in full control of her body. She's still not calm.

Be calm.

Be calm.

Be calm.

When (Y/N) got to the Hangar, she saw Thomas, Minho, Brenda, Jorge, Jack, and Newt standing. (Y/N) was about to run towards them but then she saw black-clad guards heading towards them. There were about a dozen of them. She tried to scream but the sound of the alarm is just too loud, drowning her own voice. So she ran as they started to fire.

Everyone but (Y/N) was covering themselves. (Y/N) knew that the guards were using Launchers. She could get hit but she needs to knock them all out. She took out her gun and shot the guards that she can shoot. The attention of the guards and her friends were all on her, each one were filled with shock and awe.

"What the shuck are you looking at me for!" She yelled at her friends. "SHOOT!"

Her friends had gotten back to their sense and started to fight. They. We're shooting left and right whoever was wearing black. But no matter how many times they shoot or how many people they shoot, they're still so many. That was until (Y/N) saw Thomas throw a grenade towards the guards. Everyone took cover and when the grenade touched the ground, there was a loud explosion.

While the guards were still occupied and distracted from the grenade, (Y/N) made a run for it towards her friends. She heard a gunshot and felt surging pain on her left shoulder. She took cover behind one of the cargo that's pretty near her friends. He cargo she was behind in was nearest to Jack's who looked at her with concern and worry.

"I'm fine," she said to him.

Jack nodded. "Just get to the Berg!"

(Y/N) nodded and made a run for it since the guards were still occupied. She had nothing to use as a shield and knew that she could get shot once again but she had to take another chance. At the corner of her eye, she saw Thomas, Newt, Newt, and Brenda on their way to the Berg. But that wasn't the only thing she saw. There was someone who was about to shoot Thomas with a Launcher.

(Y/N) ran as fast as she could. Trying to ignore the searing pain on her shoulder. She was able to push Thomas out of the way, only for her to be shot once more. But this time, it was worse.

(Y/N) felt the electricity run inside her body. It hurt more than her shoulder but adding the pain on her shoulder made it worse.

"(Y/N)!" She heard someone scream her name but she couldn't make out who.

The pain and the electricity was too much. She blacked out.

A/N: Editing and rereading this book, I just realized that (Y/N) is pretty shucked up. The way I wrote her and what happened to her that it is haha.
