Kayla didn't even remember she was Kayla when she got thrown into the Glade, as the others liked to call it. Some were desperate to find a way out, some had a promise of death for the creators, but her? Her journey was just at the beginning, although of two things she was hella sure: one, she was the only girl she knew and for what she remembered the only one she'd ever known; two, attitude is what's felt, even when everything is taken away from you: your past, your family, your loved ones. When Archie came up in the Box, he was accompanied by a girl, Flossy, and another boy, Graham. They arrived in the Glade, unsure of their futures or what would be expected of them. Julie. That's the only thing she knew. Somehow, she didn't even remember anything. Just waking up in a dark, damp box. But that changed everything.

Thomas, Teresa, and Brenda are best friends. Teresa has always thought of Thomas as something more, but she's too scared to find out if he feels the same. She doesn't know if things will change for the better, or for worse. Brenda thinks she's in love with Thomas, so she asks for Teresa's help to get her man. Teresa becomes jealous, but still supports her friends. "Do they still support me," she always asks herself.

*these are not my characters this is based off the books by James Dashner* 16 year old Thomas lives in the glade, along with 60 other boys. They all seem to not particularly like Thomas, with the exception of a few. There is however, one honey blonde boy that always seems to catch Thomas's attention. His name is Newt.

Jade. The only girl in the Glade. The odd one out. When she first came up, she didn't know what was going on. There were a bunch of strange boys staring down at her. A couple days later, she figures that she's the only girl. Having to bear this burden, she works hard to earn her place and gain respect. ~*~ Please be nice. This is my first story on here, and I've been working on it for a long time, but if you see any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors please point them out.
