Kevin X Reader

I groan at his reply "pleaseeeeeee." but he still shakes his head.

"No. But I'll tell you what, next time you can pay. Deal?"

"Deal," I say while nodding in agreement.

We both get up and walk out the diner and start on our walk back to the boat. On our way, we notice a group of people lingering in front of us, and we decide to walk around them so that we don't interrupt, but two guys stand in our way and move the same way as us so we can't move. We turn to back off but we can't because there are two more guys behind us. We're entirely trapped.

"What the hell is all this. Leave us alone." I tell them as confidently as I can given the circumstances. Then I notice that the two guys in front of us, blocking our way, have black eyes and my heart instantly drops to the pit of my stomach. There's no way we're getting out of here alive and well. We don't have enough holy water for them all, and we can't fight them all with our angel blades. Fuck we're screwed.

"Crowley will be pleased. We found the prophet."

"You still don't know where the tablet is," I say with a hint of defiance twinkling in my eye.

"Shut up, bitch!" One demon says and slaps me. Kevin tenses up and tries to move closer to me, but he's stopped.

"Awwww does that bother little prophet?" The demon says with a smirk. "Too bad, she'll be getting a lot worse where she's going."

Kevin and I share a look, then at the same time we kick and elbow the demons holding us and try and stab them, but they clearly saw it coming and take our bottles of holy water and our angel blades, so we're left completely defenceless.
Kevin glares at them with a look of hopelessness in his eyes.

"Take me..." Kevin starts, but I cut him off.

"No!" Kevin looks at me and continues.

"Take me to Crowley or where ever you need to take me. Hurt me, kill me; I don't care. But don't take her. Don't harm her and let her go." I look at the floor, and the demon is silent for a moment and thinks.

"Hmmmmm no," he says with an evil grin after pretending to think about it.

"No chance. Crowley will be happy I caught two of the Winchesters' friends," he replies.

"You still don't have the tablet," I repeat my previous statement.

"That won't be a problem. Crowley has a way to get it, but he can't have you around it to protect it."

"It's hidden where you'll never find it," Kevin speaks, and the demons laugh.

"There is nothing Crowley cannot do." one demon states proudly which makes Kevin and I scoff.

They're about to zap us away, but I pray to Cas and soon after there's a flutter of wings and Castiel turns up and smites the demons with no problem.

"Cas!" Kevin and I both shout and hug Cas. He hugs back quickly before looking at us closely.

"What happened? Why aren't you on the boat? I thought you couldn't leave?" Cas bombards us with questions. Kevin and I look down sheepishly, and I speak up.

"We wanted fresh air... and pie..." I tell him sheepishly, and Kevin nods in agreement and adds,
"It was my idea. I know it was stupid, but we were going crazy on that boat."
Castiel nods.

"I'm needed back in heaven now. Please don't do anything else which Sam and Dean told you not to. Be more careful, you two."

"We will Cas," I say and hug him. He hugs back then flashes away.

Kevin gently places a hand where the demon hit me and rubs it. I lean into his touch and smile.

"I'm so sorry Y/N/N."

"Kev it's not your fault ok."

"It is. I'm the one who wanted to go out."

"But I'm the one who said yes."

We stay silent for a moment; then I break the silence.

"Why were you going to sacrifice yourself to save me?" I ask, looking into his eyes.

"Because I couldn't see you hurt," he says, looking upset.

"Why?"

"Because I love you," he says while blushing bright red and looking at the floor. I say nothing but grab his face in my hands and kiss him. He takes a second to kiss back, but once it registers with him, he does. I pull away after a second and rest our foreheads together.

"I love you too," I tell him grinning.
