Jack X Reader: Part 1

Spoilers for season 13 episodes 9 and 10!

Jack is very quickly becoming my favourite character other than team free will, so I was inspired to write about him. There's mild swearing in this.

Please note that I wrote this before the season finale so this is inaccurate to the episode.

I can't believe we found him. We found Jack. And now we're sitting in the impala. Jack, Kaia and I are sat in the back, and Sammy and De are in the front. Jack and Kaia are sitting too close for my liking. Maybe I'm just being jealous, but to me, she seems too close to Jack, she definitely has a crush on my Nephilim.

"Jack? You'll protect me, right?" Kaia asks Jack. Of course, he nods and promises he will. I just sit looking out the window, trying to contain my jealousy. And it works until Kaia pipes up again.

"Jack?" I hear her whisper; evidently, she's not the best at whispering.

"Yes, Kaia?" He says, smiling a smile he's supposed to reserve only for me.

"You're cute." she badly whispers once more. Jack simply blushes and thanks her. That's it. I've had enough.

"Angel?" I say, looking at Jack. He doesn't hear me because he's starting to have a conversation with Kaia.

"Angel?" I repeat a little louder, but he still doesn't hear me. "Jack!" I shout to get his attention.

"What Y/N I'm talking?" is the only reply I get from him before he continues his conversation. I sigh and put my headphones in but before too long; we're run off the road by an angel.

Quickly more show up, so we all run onto the boat. Sam and I start warding the boat as Dean fights off any who come too close. An angel almost gets to Kaia, but Jack saves her, but in the process, he shoves me closer to the end of an angel blade, almost stabbing me in the stomach.

"Jack, you idiot!" I shout, mostly hurt than he'd risk my life for hers when I'm supposed to be his girlfriend.

We all run upstairs, and Sam and I finish the warding.

"Kaia we need to open the rift now!" Jack exclaims, clearly panicked.

"Okay," Kaia replies, shakily. As Jack and Kaia work on it, Sam, Dean and I get ready to fight the angels. It turns out we didn't need to because Kaia and Jack opened the door and somehow her scream killed all the angels.
We're all transported through the rift into another world.

"Where the hell are we?" I ask Sam and Dean as we look around.

"This must be Kaia's dream world," Sam replies.

"Well, I don't like it so let's get out of here." Says Dean and neither Sam or I complain.

We all wander around for a while, trying to find the door, but we can't seem to find it. All I want right now is my Nephilim. I want Jack with me, safe and sound but I bet that's not on his mind right now is it.

After a few days in this world, we're taken by some extremely strong person and tied to trees, presumably for some sort of sacrifice or feeding. Neither sounds particularly fun. I can hear the noise of some monster getting louder and louder. Shit, this isn't good at all.

"Boys we need to get out of here now!"

"No shit Sherlock," Dean replies as Sam nods at me. Suddenly we're untied by..... Claire? And Kaia?

"Claire!" I exclaim and hug my best friend. She hugs back and smiles. She briefly explains everything, and we all rush back to the door. Just as we reach it, the person who took us returns and looks pissed that we aren't where we should be. They aim at me, but Kaia jumps in front of me and gets hit instead. Claire and I instantly kneel next to her, but it's too late. She's dead. The rest of us go back through the door to our own world and then the hunt for Jack began.

**A few weeks later**
It's been a while since we got back. But we haven't stopped looking for a way to open another door, this time to the apocalypse world. We need to save Jack and Mary before it's too late. None of us has been sleeping or eating well. My skin is paler than usual, and I'm much thinner. I have bags under my eyes, and I have little energy. It's safe to say we're all working ourselves to death to find them.

One day Sammy tells us that he's got something and eventually, the door is opened. We recruited the help of Jody, Claire, Alex, Donna and Patience. Once we prepared properly with angel blades and all sorts of weapons, we entered the apocalypse. And thus, the hunt for Jack and Mary began. It didn't take too long to come across the building where they were holding Mary. And, with more of us than usual, the demons guarding the building weren't too much of a bother. Sam and Dean rushed to their mother as I searched for Jack. Eventually, I found him chained up.

"Jack!" I exclaimed and set him free.

"Are you okay angel?" I ask, worried for my boyfriend's well being, as would any good girlfriend.

"I'm fine. Where's Kaia?" He asks, obviously wholly ignoring the fact that I, his girlfriend, worked my ass off for weeks for him and just came to rescue him.

"She... uh... she's dead," I tell him as he sucks in a breath and tears up.

"How?"

"Saving me... she died for me..." I tell him, but he isn't pleased with this news at all.

"Why? You were so rude to her. She didn't deserve this. She was so good, so pure." Is all he can say as he gets up and goes to find the others. I stand there dumbfounded for a moment before joining the others as well.

**Back at the bunker a while later**
Jack has been so cold to me lately. It's like he's completely forgotten that I'm his girlfriend, not Kaia. I have to sort this out.

"Jack?" I say while knocking on his door.

"What Y/N," he asks, annoyed.

"Can we talk?"

"If we must." I take that as invitation enough to walk in and sit on his bed.

"Jack, aren't you forgetting something?"

"What?"

"I'm your girlfriend. Not Kaia."

"Well, maybe I wish she was my girlfriend, and that you died instead of her." at that comment, I instantly tear up.

"How could you say that?"

"It's true. Just leave. Leave and never come back." He says harshly.

"Fine then if that's what you want. Goodbye, Jack."
