"Y/N!" My train of thought is broken by my best friend who I happen to have a massive crush on, Kevin Tran. I just blink at him in response.

"Huh?"

"Jeez, you zoned out Y/N/N. What were you thinking about?" Kevin says with a laugh.

"Oh, nothing I was just daydreaming, I guess."

"You sure?" He asks, concerned.

"Yea I'm fine," I tell him with a smile.

"Ok well let's go to the new diner that's opened up down the road. I'm starving." I sigh.

"Kev, you know you're not allowed to leave the boat. Sam and Dean left me here with you to keep you safe and make sure you don't leave."

"Please Y/N/N! Nothing will happen. I'll take holy water and an angel blade. Pleaseeeee. I'm going crazy here. The tablet can wait for an hour."

"Ok fine. Let's go." He smiles and grabs his holy water and angel blade and rushes off the boat. I quickly hide the tablet then follow him out and lock the door. Then we start on our walk to the diner.

"Ahhh fresh air," Kevin says, smiling and breathes in deeply.

"Hmm, yea tell me about it." I smile, and as we get to the diner, I look around to make sure nobody is watching us. Seems clear, so we walk inside and sit down on a booth.
A smiley waitress comes over to take our order.

"Welcome! What can I get you, folks?" She says a bit too happily.

"I'll just have a sofa, and apple pie please," I say, smiling back at her although she seems a bit irritating, but maybe I'm just in a bad mood.

"I'll have the same please," says Kevin and she walks off to fill our order. I sigh contently and lean back on my seat.

"I'll be honest; it does feel great to be off that bloody boat."

"Tell me about it," Kevin says, smiling and doing the same. The waitress comes back with our order, and we dig into our pie.

"Mmmmmmm." we both say at the same time and then laugh.

"I love pie, almost as much as Dean does," I say with a mouth full of pie. Kevin laughs and shakes his head in amusement.

"Yea I noticed. You eat pie a lot like Dean too," he says with a laugh, and I grin in response.

"I guess that's what living with the Winchesters for ten years does to you."

**An hour later**
Kevin and I have ordered two more pieces of pie and sat talking for an hour. It feels great to finally be off the boat and be relaxing and hanging out with my best friend.

"We should go," I speak up. Kevin nods gets the bill and pays. "Kev let's split the bill."

"Nope." he says, shaking his head "my treat."
