i told you that i was going through some family problems
and you took me out the next day,
our second date.
you heard that i had never been to the fair
and there happened to be one in town
so that's where we went for our second date.
it took my mind off my problems
and brought it back to you.
i was happy,
i was enjoying myself
and i loved you even more than i had before.
i was enticed by the smell of the pretzels
and the cotton candy
and the popcorn.
so that's what you bought for me to eat.
i tried everything i never had a chance to try
and loved every second of it.
besides the fact that it was delicious,
it was also mainly because
i was with you.
there was a game
that require us to throw darts at balloons.
who knew that it was so easy to you
because that game
earned you a teddy bear
and you gave it to me to care
and love it
as a remembrance of you
and how you'll always be there for me
like the teddy bear will too.
i was happy
and i hoped you were too.
because on that day itself,
i was hooked onto you.
at the end of the day
we took the ferris wheel.
cliche i know,
but its a memory i'll hold
forever and always.
the stars twinkled in the sky
ever so bright
as we shared our first kiss
which was sadly short and sweet.
in that time frame of 10 seconds or so,
i became addicted to your lips.
Thank you for our second date today,
i really loved it.
and most importantly,
i love you.
