Chapter 4: Noticed me? Really?

I woke up at 6:10am exactly, feeling refreshed, I walk in to my en suite and went for a long hot shower and then dried my hair and having hair as long and thick as mine, it took me about 30 minutes to dry it. I added some salt spray to give it some natural beachy waves then applied some mascara got changed in to a black pair of leggings, a baggy white off the shoulder jumper and wore my navy blue converse.
My phone starts ringing and I pick it up on the second ring, I'm now in a 3-way call with Zara and Jess and explain what happened yesterday, about me running out, Reece coming to find me and spending most of the afternoon with him.

I get down the stairs and to the breakfast table at 7:30 and sit down with my family after having a quick conversation with my parents Zack asks me to 'help' him with something, so we walk out the kitchen and in to the living room.

"Hey Megs, where were you yesterday? I waited for about 20 minutes after football practice but you never turned up? Did anything happen? he asked
"Oh sorry about that, I should of text you back, nothing really happened, just Lindsey being her usual self" I reply trying not to act bothered
"Megan I''ve had enough of this! Stop lying to me! Some of the girls were talking about it in class and somebody overheard everything and told me ! I know exactly what happened, I swear I don't care if she's a girl, If she doesn't stop I will hit her!" he shouted at me

I didn't bothered replying, I picked up my bag from the sofa and walked out the front door, I started to wonder who the person was who told Zack. I hate bringing my home life to school, as soon as I'm out the front door it forget about my home problems
it was 7:50 and Reece was outside already.. waiting.. He quickly jumped out of his long sleek black car and walked over to me

"Hey princess"

"Hey Reece" I chirped back

Before he said anything else he opened the passenger door for me, and shut it when I slid in, on to the comfy seat. The ride to school was actually rather fun, we got to know each other, joked about and also slagged each other. we walked in the school doors together and every ones eyes were on me, for what felt like the 56th time this week and its only been 2 days. Reece could see I was getting nervous, and pulled me closer to him
" Its ok princess, just ignore them" he whispered.

He walked me to my locker where my 2 best friends were waiting on me.
" Zara,Jess this is Reece"
"Reece this is Zara and Jess"
After exchanging greetings, Reece pulled me to the side

"Do you need a ride home?" He asked
"If you don't mind" I answer, hoping he doesn't mind
"Of course not nerd, that's why I asked" He laughed

He then said his goodbyes to me and the girls and went to find his friends.

"so what is going on with you and Reece?" Zara finally asked

"I don't know, just friends I guess"

"You don't seem happy about that" Jess joins in

"I want to get closer with him, but I don't know if he wants to talk to me, He's probably just feeling sorry for me about yesterday, I didn't even think he noticed me" I moan

Well not the same way I noticed him

" You can't be serious Megs? I noticed this about a year ago and thought it would be best not to tell you, he always stares at you when he see's you and I don't mean just a look. I mean proper stares at you and even smiles when he see's you smile. I know for a fact he doesn't hang out with other girls, actually, I don't think he even talks to girls, let alone give them a ride to school. He usually spends his time getting in to trouble with Sebastian and Dylan . "

And that is when the bell goes.

He's noticed me before? He smiles when I smile? Why didn't he just speak to me? Was he embarrassed cause I was fat?

I think their is more to the schools bad boy than I thought
a lot more.

Reece's Pov

I left Megan about 2 minutes ago and I can't stop thinking about her, I don't know whats happening to me? I only spoke to her for the first yesterday in about 9 years, but that doesn't mean I forgot about her..
I walk down the corridor and inside the empty classroom where the boy's would normally be

"alright Reece man!"

"Hey Seb bro" I shout back to my best friend Sebastian Valentino

Me and Seb have been best friends since we were 12, we met Dylan when we were 14 and since then we have all been inseparable.

"Seen you give the hot chicka a ride to school today, you know the one I always catch you looking at? Do you like her" Sebastian winked at me

"Shut the fuck up" I say while rolling my eyes away

"I'm just saying shes hot, I might try something on her myself, I mean have you seen that body man, just a hard, Long sha... He winked

That's when I snapped

I grab my best friend and pin him up against the wall by his neck
"Don't fucking touch her Sebastian! I don't care if your my best friend I will fucking ki..

That's when I notice my other best friend Dylan and One of my other friends Tyler walk in the classroom to join me me and Seb, they are just standing there, staring, Seb just staring right at me

"Looks like my baby boy is all grown up, now what you gonna do to get her to be your girl? Because we all know that's what you want, isn't it Reecey boy? he flashes me his signature smirk. And laughs.

Megan's Pov

I feel happy today, Lindsey and her minions are not at school, so it gives me a break from having to watch over my shoulder. Like yesterday, a few boy's try to talk to me, smile at me and even wink at me, all I do is smile back though, I'm not going to go out of my way to talk to people who didn't give two shits about me when I was fat.
It's now lunch time and I sit at a table with Zara and Jess just like I normally do

"Hey girls, mind if we sit?" Reece asks

"Go ahead" Zara reply's

With Zara on my left talking to Jess,Sebastian and Dylan and Reece on my right, me and him are having our own conversation, basicallly he's sitting explaining to me all the reasons about how I am a nerd.
When the end of lunch bell goes, we set off to our classes.

Its now the end of the school day, I walk out the school doors, to see Reece waiting for me in the parking lot.

I walk over to him and he greets me with his usual cheeky smirk, like he did this morning he opened the door for me and shut it when I was comfortable.The car ride on the way over here, was just like the one on the way to school, I don't think we stopped talking once
I get out the car and slowly walk up the stairs to my room. I shut the door and slide down and sit on to floor. Smiling to myself like an idiot.
