The Past Is The Past

"MOMMY!" A VOICE shouted, breaking the conversation between Pan and Evelyn. The two turned to see Alex running toward them. Evelyn smiled.
She had been on Neverland for at least a month now — at least that's what the girl thought since time does not exist in Neverland — and she had loved every second. The nights were still bad so Pan had started sleeping next to her to help her nightmares dissolve. Which they did after a few days.
Pan had told Evelyn of his past about Wendy and the heroes who cursed him. Evelyn was a bit shocked at first when she heard about Henry but she pushed it aside, knowing the past is the past and there's nothing you can do to change it. That is what she told herself whenever she would get depressed.
The two had gotten closer yet neither made a move. Pan was afraid he'd break Evelyn despite her proving she was quite tough.
"Come on, you're going to miss the game," Alex whined tugging on her hand, pulling her as best as he could.
Evelyn laughed. "Am I now? What game are you boys playing?"
