THE SAND WAS soft against Evelyn's feet and she gazed in wonder at the island around her. The sun was shining and the waves were crashing gently against the land. The sand sparkled and Evelyn was in awe as she looked around.
Pan watched as her eyes sparkled and he smiled slightly and chuckled. Evelyn looked at him curiously. "Trust me, Evelyn, this island has a lot more wonders." He walked over to her and held her hand. "And one of them is me." He smirked and Evelyn rolled her eyes.
"I've seen you and you don't look like anything special," she teased.
Pan chuckled again, still entranced by her voice. "You say that for now. You'll change your mind later."
