Chapter Seven

Matt's Pov

"Sup Nashy," I say as we walk to home room.

"Hey," hes frowning, not really paying attention.

"You ok man?" 

He looks at me for a second. "What?"

"I asked if your ok," I say, now genuinely worried.

"I'm fine."

"Your such a liar. Every time you say your fine, your not even CLOSE to it."

Nash ignores me, staring at his feet.

I growl and grab his arm, dragging him into the nearest bathroom.

"Matt we're gonna be late," he says.

"I couldnt give a damn about how late we're gonna be! Tell me what's wrong."

Nash try's to push me off him.

"Please Nash. Your my best friend. Tell me." I whisper in a smooth voice.

He sighs, giving up. "It's Shawn."

"What about him?"

"Well, I think I like him, a lot, and I've never liked a guy before, not like this." Nash looks in my eyes."I'm so scared bro."

"Hey it's ok," I pull him into a hug. "I know what your going through. The best thing to do is to try and get to know Shawn, and then if your feelings have grown stronger, act on them. If they don't, then it's probably just like infatuation from his voice or something."

Nash smiles,"Thanks Matt." he hugs me tight, and after a second he pulls away. "Can we go to class now?"

I laugh."Yeah, let's go get victimized by Miss Volcrum."

"I LIKE BIG BUTTS AND I CAN NOT LIE! NO OTHER BROTHER CAN DENY! WHEN SOMEONE WALKS IN WITH AN ITTY BITTY WAIST AND A ROUND THING IN YO FACE YOU GET SPRUNG!!"

"NASH CALM YO TITS!" I scream at him as he sang Big Butts while we walked to his jeep.

"Get in," Carter says as he pulls up next to us. I look over at Nash, as if asking for permission.

"Go ahead," he sighs.

"I owe you," I say, huggin him then jumping into Carter's car. Behind me I here Cam asking Nash for a ride.

You know, if Nash didn't like Shawn, him and Cam would make a really cute couple.

I mean we could call them Cash.

And that'd be so adorable.

"Hey babe," Carter says, leaning over to give me a peck on the lips.

"Sup," 

"We're going out, ok?" he asks, driving onto the highway.

"Where to?"

"Just random places. We can spend sometime getting to know each other." he looked over at me and smirked.

"Let's go then."

"And I really love turtles." Carter and I were in Culviers, eating ice cream.

"But they're so slow!" Carter says.

"Yeah that's what they make you believe. They're so devious." I winked at him, and he turned red.

"Haha come on, let's go somewhere else," Carter grabbed my hand, intertwining out fingers. We walked out, going towards a Vans store right across the street.

We walk inside, and I see some girls giggling as they saw us, flirtatiously winking and flipping their hair.

"Carter?" I suddenly ask.

"Yeah?"

"We need to DTR."

"What?" he gave me a confusing look.

"Define the relationship. What are we?" I try not to sound too needy or fussy.

"Well, what do you want to be?"

"I want to be your boyfriend," I whisper.

Carter stops walking. "What are you-" I start to ask when he walks over to the check out center. I thought he was going to leave.

"Carter I'm sorry!"

He ignores me and asks the lady for her microphone.

What is he doing??

"MATTHEW LEE ESPINOSA!! WILL YOU DO ME THE AMAZING HONORS OF LETTING ME BE YOUR BOYFRIEND?" he screams into the mic. The whole store freezes, eyes on me and Carter.

I stare, shocked.

"Will you?" he ask again, this time quieter.

"Yes," I force out, barely able to speak

"YES!"

Carter grabbed me and pulled my lips to his. I sigh in pure bliss and Carter giggles. Everyone in the store clapped for us, making us feel 100 times better.

"Lets get out of here," Carter whispers seductively before pulling me out of the store.

And yeah imma do a double update cuz I love you guys and this was also really short the next chapter should be longer. I think it might involve some Shaylor moments ;) or maybe not..........
