To fit in was something everyone wanted. As a weird kid, you were shamed, bullied, or completely ignored. High school was a cruel world, a dark and vast jungle with no end. The abyss which we dread. To avoid all of this I became what I wasn't, something that at times, I was even ashamed of. I was barbie, hard and fast, something that someone else controlled. My mind heavily disagreed with what I did, and all I could do was pretend, pretend that it was real, pretend that I was someone they wanted, someone I wanted. The point had been reached. This 'facade' was no longer hiding something horrid on the inside, and therefore lost its purpose.
