Scroll noded. "I told you. I've never seen a Nightwing before!" he said as he stood up. He then spread his wings revealing that he had no stars underneath his wings like most nightwings.

Gator tilted her head to the right. She got up and moved closer so she could lift his right wing with her tail. She looked up and down it and then Scroll jerked back. He tucked them and gave Gator a glare. "Hmm, no stars?" She stated. "And your white spikes look a lot darker than typical, and your eyes." She got closer to scrolls face. He looked at her broken eye and accidentally cringed. "Your eyes looked to have red on the outside! You also have a lot of purple stripes and the spikes going down your back are look a lot smaller than most nightwings!" A wave of purple and gold went over her leaving her scales mostly yellow but with spots of purple. "Are you sure you're a Nightwing!"

Scroll laughed and Gator started to circle him. "Ya, I'm pretty sure I am, I don't have any family that I know of but I believe that I am!" Scroll got up and started to walk into the forest expecting Gator to follow.

"Wait, you don't have a family?" She asked as her feet started to fade to blue.

She caught up with Scroll and he said, "Ya. I actually don't remember most of my childhood, except that the first thing I saw was the forest." Is she concerned? Does she care? Scroll looked over his shoulder to see Gator sitting and looking at him with a sad expression.

"Did the rainwings ever take you in? She asked. "Nope!" Scroll said as he continued to walk. Gator's eyes widened"How did you survive?" she asked.

Scroll through. "Uhh.." That's when he noticed that he could not remember. He shrugged and his wings drooped a little. Gator ran up beside him now mostly a light shade of blue, her wings looked like they were being carried by the wind, swaying with each step. Gator was on Scrolls right so that her wired eye was hidden. "Honestly. I don't remember."

"What do you mean you don't remember?" Scroll shrugged. Gator looked down at her shadow and said, "Well, It's been a while of chatting but I have to take you to queen Glory now." queen glory. Of chores. Scroll rolled his eyes "If you follow me, I will not put you on a leash, otherwise," Gator said as she took out a whip looking thing made from vines from her side bag.

"Since when were rainwings so serious and mean?!" Scroll said backing away. "Glory..." said Gator, but not with her mouth. Huh, so I can read her mind? Scroll tried to focus on Gators thoughts more but all he could her was "Glory" and it was a very faint voice.

"I rather not help the myth of Rainwings being lazy and useless..." Gator said she started to walk towards where they come. "So are you coming or should I put this around your neck?" Scroll rolled his eyes and started to walk next to her. "Can you fly?" She asked

"What do you think? Do I look like I'm 5 years old?" Scroll said annoyed. Gator laughed and spread her wings which were a bright gold and the wing arm shifted to pink. With a few swift wing beats, Gator was in the air heading toward the palace. Scroll hesitated and then started to run, he spread his black wings and pushed up with his back legs. He never typically flew being afraid that he would be seen, but for the first time, he felt happy, happy that he was able to talk to someone and fly freely.

"So what's your name again?" Gator asked as Scroll started to fly past her. He looked over his shoulder and responded, "Scroll. Like the paper." Scroll then speed up and Gator had to use huge wing beats just to stay on his tail. "And do you know where you're going?" She asked yelling against the wind and slightly out of breath.

Scroll thought for a minute, listening for voices. He could hear a slight hum when he looked slightly to the left. "This way," He said and Gator nodded from behind him as he slowed down so she was flying next to him. Gator mouthed the words "Impressive" as she started to drop down. Scroll could see that the pink on her wing arms started to fade to a light purple. He dove down next to Gator as she started to vine swing through the trees. Scroll tilted his wings back and let the wind take him back up into the open sky. He watched the blur of different colors start to speed up as she begun to go faster and faster, swinging from the branches on one tree to the next with her wings neatly tucked and out of the way. Scroll found himself pushing hard to catch up to her. (That or he was just tired and slowing down)

It was not long before a group of very tall trees were in the distance. Scroll started to hear many voices from all below him. There must have been tons of hidden rainwings hiding everywhere Scroll looked. He slowed down and started to get dizzy because of the voices talking at once in his head.

A dragon shot up from the trees and rammed Scroll making him almost lose his balance. "Hey!?" He called out and then his head roared with voices. What was that? Why would a Nightwing be out here? Wired...idiot Nightwing.... And so on. Scroll pushed back the headache and looked around but whoever it was, seemed to disappear into thin air.

Oh wait, it's a rainwing. Of course, they did... Scroll thought as he spun around to the sound of wing beats. What should I do! Is he made? Am I going to get hurt? Should I run!" Scroll held his head as he picked those words out from the rest of the voices. "It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you." He said and then a dark green Rainwing with Pale blue wings and pale blue on her hands/neck appeared in front of him.
