LaurenABlack started asking technical questions about Wings of Fire and asking her readers to answer, and I suggested that she turn it into a full book. But then I realized; oh wait! I don't have to annoy her to death and back again about this! I can just start one myself! So, without further ado, stay tuned for ideas, prompts and logical answers to questions about the world of Wings of Fire, including: "Do dragons have religions?" "What is the ratio for human-to-dragon years?" "Why do dragons live for so long?" "Do dragons have alcohol?" "Do they have indoor plumbing?" (yes, this is a serious question) Hopefully, my vast intellect and knowledge of such thing will help you as a fanfic author doing Wings of Fire stories dare to ask questions that can deepen Pyrrhia. NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me.
