A night, a few years ago, was known as the brightest night. A night where the dragonets of destiny were born. But what if there was not just one egg stolen that night. For the Nightwings, there was two. Both eggs were about to hatch, the thing was which one would be first. They were both stolen at different times in the night. But one never made it to safety. The dragon going in for the steal was not from the talons of peace. No one knew why/where he was going to take the egg exactly.

He made it through into the hatchery, grabbed the egg, and ran. As he was over the Rainforest, three Nightwings caught up to him easily and took him out of the sky, but then they just left the egg on the forest ground. This caused a special little dragonet to grow up on its own, alone, and afraid.

The dragonet knew that the Rainwings were not like him, he saw them as a threat. He was scared of them. After about four years of being small and unseen, he noticed he kept hearing a voice in his head, many voices. At times there were many talking at the same time, others there was just a slight hum. By year four, he noticed that the closer he got to other dragons, the louder the voices in his head became. One time he threw was rock hitting a Rainwing on the side. The Rainwing acted as if he didn't care, but suddenly the voice in his head started to talk. It said stuff like, "did someone purposely throw something at me?" And, "Should I look for a person who threw it?" And then, "I'm probably imagining things..." Then the raining he threw the stone at sighed and walked away. That was when the dragonet noticed that the voices, weren't his own, but those around him.

Two years after the dragonet figured out about his powers he started to learn how to use them. This helped him when a Rainwing was hidden nearby or is someone was flying overhead. Since the dragonet could remember, he could always read. Born with the skill. He would steal scrolls from the Rainwing library which no one was ever in. The dragonet learned all his survival skills by doing this and he also learned a lot about other tribes including his own. This gave him the idea of naming himself Scroll.
