Chapter Ten

Normani's Pov

I walk to Chris' room and knock on the door and He opens it with a smirk holding a cup 

"My Queen come in" He says his breath smelling of wine as he opens the door a bit wider and I walk in and smile

"My Prince I heard you have gone mad searching for me" 

"Yes come sit with me" He says walking over to the bed and tapping for me to sit and I walk over doing so

"Where have you been all day?" he asks moving a bit closer

"I was just hanging out around the castle" I say with a fake smile

"Were you with her?" He asks his voice getting low

"Who?" I ask

"My sister" He slurs out taking another sip of his wine

"Which one" I ask knowing who he is talking about

"Lauren the only one you hang with" He looks in my eyes

"Yes for a little bit" I lie

"Hmm I want you to stay away from her" He says taking yet another drink and now filling the cup a bit more

"What?" I ask

"I want you to stay away from her" He says now raising his voice

"I will not" I say standing up and he walks over to me

"You will too I am your husband and you will obey me" He says his eyes going dark

"Excuse me I obey no one but God and my father I can see Lauren if I want" I say

"See her without my knowing and I will have her head" He says taking a seat

"You wouldn't dare" I say surprised

"Oh really ask her how she really got hurt at the war I only spared her life that time because I felt bad I won't be as generous new time" He says making my heart drop he was the one who did that to her

"But her room is next to mine I am bound to see her and we all have dinner together" I say

"Hmm you are right well I will not allow you guys to have any alone time " He says

"But she is my friend" I say feeling a  bit sad

"Would you rather your friend have a head on her body or on a spike" He asks and I get quiet

"Come and sit with me" he says and I say standing close to the door

"Now" he yells and I walk over and sit at the bed and he hands me the wine

"No thank you prince" I say handing the cup back and he looks angry so I take a small sip

"Kiss me" he says and I want to throw up but I lean in placing a small kiss upon his lips and he smiles 

"May I go?" I ask wanting nothing more than to leave

"Not yet lets kiss a bit more" He says leaning in so I kiss back and as he puts his tongue in my mouth it taste of wine its disgusting he kisses hard and sloppy and I just want it to be over so I move back and take a sip of the wine and he smiles and places my hand on his pants and I quickly place it back on my lap

"Do you not want to touch it?" he asks and I don't know what to say afraid I would make him angry 

"Umm I don't know we aren't married yet" I say

"But we will be in a month so why not get started slow so when the night of our wedding everything doesn't feel so new" He says moving closer to me
